I, too, think this is a very good choice! Well done! Imagine him as Billy? Miller who? But Justin will do just fine as Adam! He will be great!

I think so too. This is very good news, imo.

I'm confused. Didn't we decide just last week, when Meredith Baxter was cast, that we DIDN'T like former primetime actors joining the show?

It's "we" when the situation calls for it . It's one of the unwritten forum rules.

I don't have any problems with Justin being Adam. I remember his name being mentioned has a possible replacement after MM was fired.

What an improvement over the last guy. Let's start with the visuals (he actually looks like he could be Nick and Victoria's younger brother for one)...

Weird. But I like it!

Way better than Mr. ITakeSelfiesWithNoPantsOn.

wish JH would take that page out of MM's book on that front, tbh.

Make sure you call him that, too, when you give him your order at Koo Koo Roo. wink.png

I had to look up Koo Koo Roo because we don;t have that where I live.

But yeah, I'm totally going to say that to his face when I ask for "a side of fries with that."

Great Choice as Justin has done quite well in prime time. He always had a star quality. He will be great in the role of Adam. He could have been Billy as well. I am sure Justin would only go back to daytime for the right role and money.

We agree :o

I adored him since he was on Smallville

Hartley was cast as Adam to make Gina Tognoni's Phyllis happy?

Yeah, I don't get that either.

I'm cool with this one, too.

This will really set off Michael Muhney's Jim Jones-like cult followers, however.

That is, if they could be set off even more.

Hartley was cast as Adam to make Gina Tognoni's Phyllis happy? Uh....how anyone knows that, I'd like to know.

er, not make her happy, so much as make her HAPPEN. wink.png

i mean Y&R casts a YOUNG Phyllis, and then a young/young-looking Adam? I wonder why... whistling.jpg

EDIT: the BEST news out of this is that w/ this casting Sharon/Adam is pretty much DONE. biggrin.pnglaugh.pngbiggrin.pnglaugh.png

IMO, that is the best part about this move.

Now, if only the Daniel Goddard fans could be as unfortunate....

I just hope the psycho Muhney stans don't attack JH over this

Are you kidding? They're readying the torches and pitchforks as we speak!

Not necessarily. ;)

Also, don't assume Phyllis and Adam have been de-aged or that he has been de-aged in order to make him her next romantic partner. This might have less to do with that and more to do with plain, old-fashioned ageism.
