The casting for this one was, in a word, abominable. Cindy Williams? Polly Bergan? SALLY KIRKLAND? Even Elaine Stritch was wrong for this project.

Elaine Stritch is horrible in this, much like everything else she ever did.

I watched this a few months back. I'd like to see the unsold Driving Miss Daisy pilot with Joan Plowright, Robert Guillaume, and Hillary B. Smith.

Until I watched the Driving Miss Daisy pilot I never knew HBS was interested in primetime.

She did movies back in the '80s, not to sound negative, but I think she "settled" with daytime.

As for HBS she was also in a pilot as Eva Gabor's daughter which is in the unaired Pilot thread

She also did the pilot Actinfg Sheriff with Robert Goulet in 1991

Wow, Eva Gabor's daughter, that's so random! Interesting. I'm off tomorrow, I think I'll watch a couple of these, thanks for posting.
