I've been wondering lately if Kay Alden is taking more charge because the show has come a long way the last couple months.......love Quinn stalking Liam.....I think Quinn has earned her spot as one of those soap psychos that will go down in history!

So I guess Darla is like "Ghost John" on Y&R......It's nice they are using Shae more, but they need to give her a full blown body!

Are you talking about Caroline bc you would be wrong. She was NOT a snob when she first came on. She was a generic good girl. She was written as innocent and pure, basically Hope without the judgment. It was only after Maya was brought on that they did a complete 180 with her character, turning her into a self absorbed snob. This was like a year after she was introduced. It made her more interesting but it made no sense and was out of character based on how she was portrayed to be

I'd be on board for an Amber return, but I don't see it happening.

Caroline is on personality #3; I wonder if she'll have a new one when the actress returns from maternity leave.

Can I just say I like that Rick is referring to Aly as his niece. It feels odd yet refreshing to see him as an overprotective uncle. He never gave a damn about Ridge's kids, at least not when he wasn't f--king them. The only one of Eric's kids he's ever been shown to be close to was Bridget so its good to see him be concerned for Thorne's child

OMG KKL & SK in the same scene again! My heart was beating fast In those scenes, I used to be such a moronic Breacon shipper. Is it me or the chemistry is still there? I just love those two together.

And Quinn is such a blast. The show had been in dire need of a psychotic vixen for decades, I knew such a character would stir things up.

Has anyone noticed how many different sets have been used this week? Sets, extra... The show is beautiful and lush. I think it deserves higher ratings and to be acknoledged as one of the very best shows on CBS right now.

I've haven't seen them sharing scenes before (since I wasn't watching B&B back then) but there was definitely chemistry there, and it felt like these people knew each other before. I'm loving Sean Kanan's performance.

Rena Sofer has been just amazing (and I'm one of those who loved her as Eve on MP, so no surprise there).

ITA.

The show is looking so beautiful these last couple of episodes. At some points I thought I'm watching B&B back in the day, when they cared more about these stuff.

    • Correction, Chicago Hope 1994/95 was initially Thursday 9 pm, a CBS dead zone and head-to-head w/ Seinfeld. 1994/95 CBS Thursday 10 pm initially was Eye to Eye with Connie Chung. Later in the season CBS did a scheduling shift with Chicago Hope moving to Monday 10 pm, Eye to Eye with Connie Chung moving to Thursday 9 pm, and 48 Hours moving from Wednesday 10 pm to Thursday 10 pm.

    • A--I wish someone would post a better vid of the entire ball, as it must be out there. And B--nope. Evie is only in a small segment of the ball with Phillip, Rick and Mindy. She doesn't dance at all. Ross dances with Helena and Amanda. I'm not even sure why Evie is at the ball---Vanessa heartily disliked her. I did see that Billy actually asked Henry to introduce him to Vanessa, which I hadn't realized.
    • Honestly, they should've ordered more of 2000 Malibu Road for the 1992-93 midseason and aired it when Knots went on a break. That was probably their best shot.    Then of course they fumbled Central Park West by airing it in the 9PM slot instead of a 10PM slot where it would've been away from the Fox dramas. CPW got its best rating by airing randomly on a Sunday and when it was taken off the air for a "re-tooling", Party of Five's ratings actually had a spike, so clearly they were feeding off each other. But being a smaller network focused on a certain demographic, Fox could afford to be patient Party of Five, CBS couldn't...
    • Agree on Bruce Gray as Owen; they needed to cast star power. He was too lightweight against Kim and he had no chemistry with Frances Fischer except more gay buddy or daddy figure.  I loved Nola and Eliot together though. Lee Godart should have been longer term.
    • Andre has the worst fashion of the males which is off putting for someone as fine as he is. His jackets and sweaters look dated and no vintage does not work for him
    • I don’t recall MSW having a toy line in the late 80’s or early 90’s like all those Saturday morning cartoons did LOL but thought this was cute when I saw it in a vintage toy store yesterday:

    • Copying and pasting pasting this here as to not to derail the KL thread lol Wow I forgot CBS actually did try multiple attempts to come up with a soapy replacement for Knots on Thursday nights in the 10/9 slots for the 93-94 season.   Angel Falls had promise but CBS didn’t give it a fair chance. Latham’s Second Chances got even worse ratings than Angel Falls and wasn’t given a second chance when the Northridge quake destroyed the show’s sets. One West Waikiki looked gorgeous but was a blink you missed it affair. Finally we got Hotel Malibu, a quasi follow-up to Second Chances that stayed as the summer replacement series it was. CBS switched gears and had Chicago Hope air in the slot…against ER. It made the Top 30 but obviously underperformed below expectations. CBS gave up, and gave us 48 Hours for years there. It wasn’t until the 2002-03 season when CBS finally produced a Top 20 show for that spot with Without A Trace against an aging ER.
