How many dressing rooms are they going to have to build? It is so bloated now, I can't imagine having another contract player.

they said mid 30s -40s so if they keep 30s it could be Tommy

But it wont be

He should be roughly Maxie's age and she's late 20s so no he shouldnt be mid 30s. Considering they are aiming for someone older (or else up to 40s wouldnt be a requirement), its obvious the character is not meant to be Tommy unless they do some ridiculous unnecessary SORASing. This shouldnt be turned into Tommy just bc he's black. The character simply isnt appropriate for what they are calling for

I know age means nothing on these shows, but I can't shake the fact that Tommy was just a little boy giving Simone and Justus a hard time when I was in high school.

Don't worry, Chit. Shawn will be killed in a gun battle with Bill Eckert's cronies and die in T.J.'s arms, just in time for Thomas Sr. to arrive and leave the two-black-males rule intact. Maybe "Tommy" will even hold his old pal Shawn himself.
