Al B Deadbeat is Quincy's sperm donor. It takes alot more than that to make a father. Quincy has spoken out about trying to connect with that man and getting nothing back in return. I don't like Diddy either but its been obvious over the years that he cares about that boy.

Not being on Empire isnt a loss to Quincy. If he was serious about being in the entertainment industry he has more than enough connections through Diddy which includes Timbaland tracks.

That reporter just diss Hakeem. I hope he can step out of his father shadow. & Tiana is bi, I wonder are they going to go the threesome route.

Can somebody explain to Jamal that he works for Empire, & he should use all of their resources.

Andre is your alibi. that's his purpose.

I know Andre and Evil White Wife are here to create tension and drama behind the scenes but I'm sort of over how cold Andre is. They need to better develop him, IMO. There are little things, like Lucious pretty much dissing him tonight with basically like "what good are you" ... so I get it but it's sort of falling short to me.

And seriously, Tiana girl, why are you making out with a chick in PUBLIC. What did you expect? LOL. That was dumb.

Hakeem is such a little boy. And he comes off as one. I sort of laugh every time he tries to act like some thug. I want him to get a rude awakening.

Love seeing Cookie's sister. LMAO At Cookie on the phone and dealing with the feds, Tiana, Jamal, etc. Love it. God Cookie is amazing. Taraji owns this show.

It does move a little too fast but at the same time, they planned it as 13(?) and no idea at the time if they'd get a pick up so I understand the faster pace. But they do need to try and slow it down. I feel like they're burning through way too much too fast.

    • The first one is Cass Winthrop dressed as Krystle Lake on Another World (not from his original creation of the character to hide from the loan shark Tony the Tuna, but at a romance convention trying to find out what had happened to Felicia who was missing). The second one is also Another World, Jake McKinnon as Doris although I don't recall what his purpose was.
    • I know there was one brief scene in the summer of 1989 where Lillian did mention Calla.. but in relation to her past relationship to Ross and it was to Roger while he was a patient at Cedars.  I think he was trying to pump her for information on Ross.. and for some reason, Calla's name came up.   I could see perhaps Beth mentioning that her mother Lillian was visiting Calla.. but not exactly giving any sort of details as to the going ons in Calla's life off screen.

    • They're neither great nor terrible AFAIK, but it is more a question of the streaming numbers in this day and age vs. actual TV airings. The Chibnall era reminded me much more of the crisis years, but I do think it's a very real possibility now as well due to the streaming bubble collapse affecting the show and its prospects.
    • ANYTHING to get her off the screen..she COULD have been interesting if she and Van had a few face offs..(there was a mild one of her going back to work...but I wanted something meatier "Bitch, I am Vanessa Chamberlain and I don't take advice from someone who followed the..career path you did!" I did like Alex's outright disdain for her.
    • Thanks @Vee for the commentary.    I haven’t even watched this season yet after  I couldn’t get past the couple episodes last season…like it was too Disneyified for my taste, although I did think it was a least better than the Chibnall era (but so is a lot of things). I’ll probably go back and binge it now. Hoping this season ends on a high note. I did read the ratings are terrible. As it stands I’m beginning to feel like what long time DW fans felt with S26 in 1989.
    • Yes, they are all on contract. Next.
    • I also never understood Alex's friendship with Sonni or keeping the secret of Marah's paternity.  Not exactly heartbroken about Ms. Sally being ushered to the Hereafter.

I'm sorry but I'm a glutton for punishment. Would love to see this woman OWNING the canvas. Telling off Leslie who tells her she's the head b!tch.
