I'm surprised they didn't dress up a little for the ceremony...And why do people chose to live in Palm Springs?? It is sooo hot.

As for the Stern/Black's writing on ATWT, they brought back Paul Ryan,Ryder Hughes (teddy Ellison) and Dani Andropoulos as well as bringing on Mark and Sarah Kasnoff and Zoe.

Dani came back in summer or fall 1994 I think. I can't remember who was writing at the time.

Black and Stern had a few OK ideas but the execution was a mess.

They also created Diego and the Diego/Umberto storyline (he "killed" Damian, terrorized Kirk's wife Samantha, was an international terrorist, etc.) and the whole messy story of Lisa with the con artist from Hong Kong. They also wrote John's revenge on Lisa, which was a popular storyline.

That was also during the Mark/Connor affair, which was very polarizing.

The worst part was how terrible the new characters were.

I liked Model Paul and Ryder Hughes played by Kerr Smith and Dani but found Sarah boring and Zoe was ugh....lol
