Woody Allen Responds

No, that's not a strong argument, he's just using a bunch of word games as a denial. The more a personal rambles on, the more they are likely to not be telling the truth. The man is pervert, plain and simple, seeing as he's married to who was once his adopted child. It's so nutrageous to throw victims under the bus just because you like a celebrity. This crap has to stop, it really does.

I remember when this story broke that I was suspicious about the timing of the allegations that Allen sexually abused Dylan. However, it was always clear to me that he was a repulsive sexual predator. My jaw literally dropped at his rationalization for having sex with a vulnerable confused young girl (I'll never buy that she was 17) who came to him for support when she was having a difficult relationship with her mother. Even if Allen did not see himself as a parental figure in her life, he should have acted as a safe port in a storm for Soon Yi, not exploited her sexually. His behavior was so outside the bounds of what is socially acceptable. If Allen was not famous and rich, not one of the people defending him would spit on him if he was on fire.

I feel sorry for all the Farrow children who got caught up in this mess, especially Soon Yi. At least, her siblings had a chance to find their own way in this world. She ended up married to her sexual abuser

Is this a joke? Soon Yi was a confused child when Allen sexually exploited her. He should have been the target of Mia Farrow's wrath, not Soon Yi, If anything Mia Farrow failed as a mother by not letting Soon Yi know that she loved her and even if she did not feel like she could come home that Farrow would find a safe place for her to go.

Typical. Blame the woman.

Woody is a twisted, disgusting f-ck. Getting with a girl who you may not have raised but watched grow up and was apart of her life as a parental figure is NASTY AS F-CK. None of you can not sit up in here and act like you wouldn't be suspicious if this happened in your family.

So, you believe the BS that Soon Yi was this temptress, that Woody couldn't ignore?!

This is just crazy and I feel bad for her, her siblings and Dylan.

Something is very wrong with Woody and just because he's a multiple award winning film actor, writer and producer shouldn't have given him a pass from the industry for decades now.

It's just wrong.

    • Looking at those totals it seems most contract actors are on a 1 or 2 week average guarantee. I assume contracts are still operating on 13 week cycles so you would have to know the particular actors contract starting date to work out their guarantee. The question remains as to what actors listed as contract are actually recurring? Bryton ?
    • Yep, that scene was at the conclusion of the Derek Thurston vs George Packard storyline, when Kay decided neither of them should run Chancellor.  By the time she put Victor in charge, Victor had been on the show for months & months with his Rolls Royce, his ranch, and Newman Enterprises.  SONY released some Y&R "trivia cards" in the late 1980s, and one of the questions was "who brought Victor Newman to Genoa City?" The answer on the back of the card is "Kay Thurston, to run Chancellor Industries", and it's a wrong answer lol.
    • I think someone said it did exist, but I can't remember.
    • The bit with the scarf reminds me of the fabled stuffed animal scene with Rick and Phillip. (That wasn't debunked, was it?)
    • Ohh, interesting. I instantly gravitated towards her in that episode. Of course I'm already hooked and want to know why she was trying to poison that older lady, but then how did the older lady know to switch the mugs so Susan drank her own poison...  but I have too many timelines I'm watching right now haha.  Oh, Bolger is definitely hot. I didn't realize he was on GL haha. I knew him from OLTL and other primetime stuff.
    • This is a effin shame. Eff Trump and eff the bastards that enable him.
    • I 100% agree but I think this is due to how the show is structured. It's a one family show which means there are no people in her age range that could be used as friends or contemporaries of her. The show definitely needs a second main family. I am glad someone finally said this. Especially now that the cast is gelling in their roles, he stands out like a sore thumb. No energy, no chemistry with anybody. He is just there.  I thought that was odd as well! The previous scene would've worked better as a tag for the credits.
    • That's the one and only Carrie Nye (Mrs. Dick Cavett) as Susan Piper, a deadly realtor. I don't want to spoil a lot if you ever want to see those episodes. She returns as another character in 2003. I think Grant has aged well and he always did a good job at being ripped without going too far, but he was never entirely my cup of tea either. I did think John Bolger was hot.
    • Totally agree. KKL looks great! It makes the Widge groveling so bizarre. Brooke needs to leave FC and with $B's/Liam's funding launch a rival fashion house with Hope, Rick, Katie and a secret designer. The best scenario is that Rick has been absent because he's been with very much alive C2, who is revealed on the runway as the secret designer. It'll never happen because B&B is comfortable just focusing on FC and the Forresters Marones v. Logans. But it'd been so much more interesting if the Spencers/Logans united.
