The Professor!

Rest in peace, Russell

I didn't realize he was still alive.

He was gorgeous on Gilligan's Island, and he seemed to do his best to try to help other people. I'm glad he can be with his son again.

I thought he had passed also. RIP. Gilligan' s Island reruns were a staple during my childhood

I went through the period when I was addicted to Gilligan's Island reruns. One of my favorite episodes is when they had a beauty contest between Mary Ann and Ginger. The Professor was so sweet supporting Mary Ann. It made me smile.

RIP.

I didn't realize he was so close to 90. That means he would have been in his early 40s during GI's run, but he definitely looked much younger. The Professor was my favorite character after Mrs. Howell, so this makes me very sad indeed.

I liked Lovey, Thurston Howell, Ginger and The Professor. I had no use for Gilligan, Skipper and Mary Ann.

RIP
