I'm talking about reusing sets like i beleive they did with Wanda's 1980's diner turning into Carlotta's 1990's diner. Just a set being redressed and becomming another one later on.

Maybe houses have done the same thing on soaps...without explaining to people that it used to be one and now it's another. I'm not talking about someone moving into someone else's house like they did with the Webbers and then Scorpio's on GH.

I've actually been waiting for One Life to Live and AMC sets to be given away to other soaps. like the Ryan's hope diner coming to Llanview and being used.

I'm sure Y&R and B&B have done a lot of set swapping.

I hope this is on topic, but does anyone know for sure if they are still using old Y&R sets that are now the new ones, like are there any sets that use to be the Colonnade Room, Gina's, Victor's old Penthouse Danny and Cricket's/Nina's old penthouses, Lauren's old suite, Paul's old PI office etc....

Passions always did such a bad job of reusing the sets. I remember when they went to Bermuda it was obvious that the hotel they stayed in was the same set used for the Crane Mansion.

When Ava first arrived on GH, wasn't her apartment the same as Erica's on AMC? I know on Y&R they turned Victor's Penthouse into JT's Loft and then it became Restless Style and right now I think it's turned into Dylan's loft. It has a very distinct style so it's been pretty obvious.

At one point on Y&R during the Kurt Kostner story, the Rawlins/Carlton home was used as a part of the story. It had not been seen in some months and was used for a few episodes. I recall that the camera was held tight so there weren't any sweeping shots but it was still recognisable.

in the early 90's I noticed that Sheila and Scott's apartment became Neil and Dru's place....I believe Neil still lives in that same one unless that's a new one.

I remember that. That was around the time with the really weird almost purple lighting. Everyday I'd sign on DR and hear complaints about too much blue on DAYS.

Nope, but Kelly is now living in Kevin's former apartent.

Set swapping/redesigning is especially a B&B staple. Up until 2010 or so nearly EVERY single set was reused.
