What does being related to Delia have to do with attending Connor's christening?

Yes, it was.

Just as related as Victor and Nikki....but the writers managed to show their perspective. I knew Chloe wouldn't get much from this story when they wouldn't even show Esther. The woman who has arguably spent more time with Delia than anybody. Delia was always said to be with Esther. That's why I can't take this story seriously.

The Baldwins/Fishers should have been there especially since Delia spent just as much time with them as she did with the Abbotts and Newmans (allegedly - not like we actually saw any of it). Chelsea should have been at the funeral as well. I understand that Connor had just had eye surgery but when your best friend kid dies and her cornea go to you kid... you show the hell up even if it is for 5 minutes. I disliked her funeral so much because we didn't even see the inside. Also Jill and Esther seemed to have gotten over her death in record time. Her entire death has been so badly written and the only thing that has saved it has been the actors' performances.

I agree. It's made me forget about Bell & Alden's work and I think it's building its own, far superior legacy.

The dialogue is horrid. However, the show isn't offensive or disgusting. Small steps.
