September 17, 201312 yr Member What the hell's the point? +1 Unless SOD is trying to expand and air scripted programming I don't understand this either. That said, SOD may want to consider that eventually.
September 17, 201312 yr Member What is the big news? Basically they are having the hulu episodes embedded into the SOD website. I noticed it already and I think they even could have mentioned the possibility elsewhere before the release.
September 18, 201312 yr Author Member I dunno why but If this gets the shows more eyeballs, and possibly money, Im all for it Edited September 18, 201312 yr by John
September 18, 201312 yr Member What the hell's the point? SERIOUSLY, especially because the SOD website is still a complete [!@#$%^&*] show
September 18, 201312 yr Author Member Why not release them on DVD and/or Blu-Ray I would so love that
September 18, 201312 yr Member As has been mentioned they've already been doing this for months so it's weird there is now suddenly a formal press release announcing it. I don't really see this accomplishing anything remotely significant in terms of getting more eyeballs. Anyone who goes to the SOD website knows the shows are back, and if they can manage to get themselves to the SOD website they presumably could have gotten themselves to hulu had they wanted to watch them. Is the situation so precarious at TOLN that getting the 9 people who can find the SOD website but not hulu is make or break? It seems like in order for this venture to be successful PP didn't just need every episode of both shows to be #1 on hulu, but they needed to be #1 by a mile. Anyways the one good thing that might come from this is that maybe SOD will augment its coverage of the shows (although I think it has been pretty good in that regard, especially compared to other outlets).
