She is such a great Pop Event/Phenomenon. The way she's made EVERYONE talk about her WHILE releasing two great singles in a row has been phenomenal.

Wrecking ball is so good!

It's an ok song, but to me it lacks that little extra that would make it a great or even a good song. It doesn't make me want to hear it again.

I'm feeling it, too. This whole thing is absolutely amazing. I've never been a fan of hers, but through all of her recent antics, she's won me over. Go 'head, ratchetazz!

agreed. Miley's demographic is a young modern crowd, not the older generation. Being associated with her father, who's fanbase hails from an older 80s generation isn't what she needs to be hot and it wouldn't be a good move for her career wise. Being his daughter may have helped get her foot in this business but its not whats been sustaining her and she's making a name for herself, whether people like the image she's projecting or not. She's doing that as Miley. Not Hannah Montana and not Billy Ray's daughter. Good for her bc it seems to be working out for her and the big surprise is, she's actually quite talented

bc it was clearly done for attention and it worked bc people are now talking about her and checking out her work.. Jack mentioned before that it served a dual purpose in wanting to shed her wholesome Disney persona, which as an adult, doesnt do her any benefits as she isnt catering to 6-12 year old girls anymore

Party in the USA has 300+ million views and We Cant Stop has over 100 million too. Wrecking Ball video came out on Monday so to have 100 million views in a week is amazing.
