It actually makes sense IF Dimitri's original intention was an inside job/coup to takeover Chandler.

I wondered about that being a possibility when I last posted. He fell for Erica while attempting a hostile takeover of her company after he decided to thoroughly involve himself in Enchantment. The difference though to me is that at the time Erica was just some woman he didn't particularly like. Brooke on the other hand... I realize they haven't interacted in more than a decade prior to his return, but she was his friend. They dated briefly and flirted with being more, and he once put up a lot of money to move her and Jamie out of the country when it looked like she might be convicted of murder. That's not to say that he wouldn't turn on her and try to take over Chandler, but it seems rather mean given their history.

Frankie and Natalia have both been mentioned and both presumably don't live in PV. Their exact whereabouts is unknown but both are still with Randi and Brot respectively

I think Dimitri is a red herring. He was even holding a phone in his next scene, like he might have just gotten off the phone with Evelyn. Come on, it's too easy. I think it will still be who the deleted scenes described.

What I don't get is that these scenes were written with the audience knowing the guardian in mind - so why did it seem like Evelyn talking to the guardian was a one sided conversation without seeing the guardian? So strange.

Which makes her reaction to hearing "Mr. Marick", regardless of the reason behind it, bizarre.

I am going to miss the "Annals of Daytime" talk to an extent even though it was annoying. The first time she said it I thought she was implying that Jesse/Angie were in the butt-crack of daytime and didn't like them as opposed to the opposite.
