He fell for Erica while attempting a hostile takeover of her company after he decided to thoroughly involve himself in Enchantment. The difference though to me is that at the time Erica was just some woman he didn't particularly like. Brooke on the other hand... I realize they haven't interacted in more than a decade prior to his return, but she was his friend. They dated briefly and flirted with being more, and he once put up a lot of money to move her and Jamie out of the country when it looked like she might be convicted of murder. Has Angie or Jesse said where their fine ass son is? Was there an episode that give details of the last 5 years and where most of the people went? Which makes her reaction to hearing "Mr. Marick", regardless of the reason behind it, bizarre. But now I'm just confusing myself lol. And probably unnecessarily as I still think the reveal will be what what originally planned. On another topic, has Opal always been portrayed as actually having "the sight" (as she calls it)? I thought she was just a kook who thinks she has it... until Pratt took it (IMO) too far by having Opal actually have visions of Adam (actually Stuart) being wheeled into PVH after being shot in the chest, as well as Tad being shot in the head. The first time she said it I thought she was implying that Jesse/Angie were in the butt-crack of daytime and didn't like them as opposed to the opposite.
