Do you mean to tell me that throughout the board's endless gnatfucking over the "Agnes touch" on Loving during those slow months leading up to the return of AMC and OLTL you've been sitting on those this entire time?

What is wrong with you, Eric? Upload them!

Well certainly JER's serial killer story on DAYS wanted to be similar and claimed they could kill off anyone--but we know how that worked. But the reason there hasn't bee obviously is because other shows when doing serial killer stories largely have to kill off characters that are not important to the show--with a few exceptions that fans usually find out about anyway--

WHen The City premiered, they almost immediately launched into the Masquerader (?) serial killer story which was way too similar. It was a huge mistake--especially since no one had any investment in the characters (who, I believe were all new cast members, not Loving members.) You would think the characters would move again if they left Corinth due to the murders... It wasn't until a bit after that story that The City found its groove (especially when Tracy replaced Morgan Fairchild's Sidney).

LOL well they're only so/so quality--but I'll at least upload some in the next few weeks. Interesting, looking at the episodes, Nixon had an official "Story Consultant" credit for all of B/E's run on Loving. I knew she did for The City, but though she set up a lot of 1995's Loving story during 1994 when she returned as HW but didn't know she retained official consultant credit. (Which in itself is strange since often consultant's aren't listed but Loving/City remained owned by her company, not ABC, so perhaps being the royal bitch that she is she demanded credit.)

BTW in that link Cassadine posted there's a link to the Curtis murder episode. His murder scenes really did have an eerie tone to them, as most of them did (filmed in B&W, etc). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kl6sumHmOgc

Adelaide, what years do you have? And get on it!!

I watched the whole show just to catch a damn picture of Gwyneth and missed it. Had to go back to the beginning.

Christine Tudor was a total bad ass, and I loved it! Elizabeth Savage had that great old fashioned glamor, but she was never Gwyneth. I remember the eppy where Gwyneth lost everything walking down the street completely defeated while "Another Day In Paradise" played. It was wonderful, but that should have been CT in that scene!

So tired of that bitch Felix and his childish names. Drop dead!

    • Erwin Nicholson's last episode as SFT ep was 11/21. Whitesell started 11/22/85. Erwin was on board from March 8, 1985 so less than 9 months. Whitesell lasts six months (approximately) before P&G moved him to AW for two years where he primarily worked with DePriest. Whitesell was replaced on Search by no daytime experience David Lawrence who closed out the show's last six months.

    • I assume in name only?  One Stormy Night wasn't exactly steamy.  If it's a literal throwback then Stephanie's writing about sexy times her own Uncle was having lol. Since I am going to surmise it's just a throwback to the name, Night Sins and Winter Heat both sound sexier.  Just saying.  I swear Jamey (and Ron) just google things and land on the first thing they like and decide it's a good throwback to history without watching it.
    • I usually don't want Tide placement in the middle of an intense sad scene, but this is an interesting point

    • Thanks!   Was anyone watching during this time? Wondering how Peggy’s rape played out onscreen. It just seems cruel to subject the Brooks family to this trauma a 2nd time.   Feels like the writers have already given up on the character of Jennifer, even though she sticks around another year-plus. She should be a passionate and fierce protective mother, but instead she seems just reactionary (and not even mentioned in this recap) This was also the case in ‘73 when Chris was raped. The writers are definitely more invested Stuart as the Brooks parent.
    • BTG got another SNL reference at 00:50  CONTEXT (so it isn't misconstrued) in this joke swap segment, Michael Che frequently makes his white cohost Colin Jost read racist jokes written by Che.

    • It's obvious that Israel's presence is a major divisive issue, and this is something that the EBU needs to deal with. According to the now published results Israel got 13 out of a possible 19 max points in the semi-final, and while their song isn't bad there's no way they would get those numbers without some kind of manipulation/political voting. They are clearly using this contest as a way of improving their somewhat tarnished reputation. I know that some people are comparing this to the massive sympathy votes that Ukraine gets and which propelled them to victory in 2022, but I feel that that was a more genuine show of support than this concerted effort from Israel to influence the televoting. I even had an ad on Youtube from Israel in Swedish(!) asking for votes! It might not be against any rules, but it feels a bit icky nonetheless.
