Hank came back for like a day, shortly before Rachel. It was all "I'm here to support the family in Matthew's time of crisis!" And then he was staying at the Buchanan mansion, and disappeared. Carl/DRW has often joked that Hank is still lost in the mansion.

I'd kill to see all the Gannons again. I was especially annoyed when R.J. came back totally cool with Téa, despite her breaking his heart - I loved them together, and I know scenes with TDS and Florencia addressing this were cut way back in 2002.

There was a scene where RJ was talking to Tea in the courtroom and TSJ/Todd strolled into the room proceeded to interrupt them in Todd's signature smarmy style. That was the moment I knew that I would never come back to OLTL again and I say that as someone who loved TDS, FL and TSJ.

As long as we're going down memory lane I'll always give props to Robin Strasser for the way she played Dorian's reunion with RJ. There are moments when you can tell that an actor is channeling the audience's reaction to something happening on screen. Dorian's reaction to seeing RJ again was everything I was feeling.

I continue to hope PP will find a way to bring back the Gannons. It would be good for Bo and Nora to deal with Hank and RJ. Rachel would help build out the Cutter/Natalie/Rama set and Jamie would make a good addition to the A team. Plus RJ would do Tea a world of good. He knows what it's like to lose a child.

I have always said TDS could run the show himself if he had to. I still think he should be back. And I've always said Kevin and Rachel would make a great young interracial tentpole couple for the Buchanans, who need a little shoring up - possibly with Zane and that skeleton in the closet nipping at their heels.

Thanks- I found the Hank & RJ 2009 scenes on YT (I was taking the LSAT spring 09 so I guess I missed this return altogether somehow) - I loved Hank's friendship with Bo & Nora. My 80 something grandma was a crazy RJ fan and LOVED RJ/Tea in the early 00s- it was one of the last OLTL stories I remember talking about with her. I'm getting all verklempt now. TDS has one of those voices with a lovely cadence that immediately brings me to a nostalgic place- much like Mike Nader is doing for me right now on AMC. So sad that Cartini brought them back & then didn't do anything with it. I would love RJ back- especially if TSJ isn't coming back full-time. And Kevin and Rachel would fit so well too- they obviously tie perfectly into the Clint/Viki and the Bo/Nora/Matthew branches of the Buchanans. And it always feel more like Llanview when the Buchanans are well represented on the canvas.

Marty's rape which was a huge success for OLTL in ratings and recognition totally made Todd Manning and RH an albatross to the show. RH became "God" in the soap world. Everyone wanted him even ATWT got so low that they hired him to play a character he wasn't suited for a la Susan Batten. His acting during the Marty story were good but his acting went off the railes shortly after it. His acting continues to suffocate the other actors he works with on the show(OLTL). His acting on GH is laughable and a complete travesty.

Todd is like all the other characters that have run their course long time ago...a la....Sheila Carter...how many times did we have to see her kill and make misery the lives of other people..overkill....Phyliss Summers ...another character that should have left long ago....David Kimble....etc...etc....I also think Michael and his brother..his name slips me should be off the canvas on Y&R too. Instead Y&R killed of Brad Carlton...I wasn't a fan of his at the end but he should be a staple of the show and not Michael and his messed up psycho brother.

Meh. I don't buy that. AMC introduced a whole new cast of characters and anchored that with very few vets or tent pole pairings. Jessie and Angie have had tons of story and David has been a cornerstone. I think OLTL attempted to execute the same kind of strategy, but weren't so effective. AMC (as has been pointed out) had none of the key pairings that they ended the show on abc with. OLTL banked on having Todd and Blair an John and Natalie. They could have easily and quickly discarded those "hangovers".

To answer the Sharon Gabet question, yes. Her book is on Amazon and the bio from it talks about her interest and studies in various alternative healing methods after one of her kids was diagnosed with autism. She's been an astrologer, yoga instructor and nurse.
