Dan Gauthier's agent wrote on her facebook wall that Gauthier will begin filming at B&B next week in a top secret role. SOD revealed last week to expect B&B to make a huge casting announcement in the upcoming weeks.

    Finally as this show has no men on contract in the 40/50 group besides Bill. Is this a contract role? I still hope for Taylor's brother

    Dan Gauthier as Ridge is darn good casting. Or Dan Gauthier as anyone, if Bill Bell's ADD writing isn't all over it. And how nice to have a leading man on B&B who doesn't skeeve me out.

    Great news for Dan. I am glad that he is working on the soaps again. It was a crime that no one snapped him up after he was fired from OLTL. He is one of the age appropriate actors that I thought would be perfect for B&B. I hope that he gets to work with Heather again. Although no doubt whatever character he plays, he will eventually be Brooke's Destiny.

    I totally forgot about his pairing with Heather Tom. Wow. They had good chemistry.

    I loved them together. Apart from their chemistry and that hot Kevin/Kelly shower scene, Dan is the strongest actor that Heather has ever been paired with in her soap career. It really makes a difference.
