that wouldn't have worked for ABC bc each have a contract with ABC. For ABC to wait 6 months, would mean they'd have ended those contracts and the actors would have moved on elsewhere, most likely to OLTL, which ABC was trying to keep them from ending up on. Not saying IA, but this was their last minute plan to keep the actors around given the backstage circumstances

I think if they were going to do it, the time is now. They are more than likely going to be keeping the 3 in the same pairings, and if that is the case, do while they are fresh in the audience minds instead of hoping lightening will strike twice.

I'd rather not see KA or ME but waiting might be the bigger mistake.
