My question is, regardless of who the finale makes up, how will they film it? I haven’t seen anything and it’s typically a live finale with two lipsyncs that help decide the winner. How will they do that if California is shut down?

Also I just wanna way Gigi is so underwhelming. No personality and all of her looks blend into each other. She is a look queen so I expect her to get praised for that, but she gets a pass for everything else. How has she managed to survive being in the bottom the past few week?! It’s insane.

Gigi in the bottom for the stand up show? The flight to hell skit was funny and her Color Purple runway was fine.

After the edit being Team Gigi back when she won Snatch Game, it seemed to turn against her. I thought her commercial was fine but everybody slammed it.

I like Jaida but she presents beautiful glamour runway week after week. She does it well but there's no camp or quirk to her looks. Her standup was awful.

@Paul Raven Her stand up was fine, but underwhelming to me. Her fashion is the typical new young queen look that bores me. It's put together yes, but week after week I feel it's predictable. For Gigi it's more the previous weeks I feel she's done poorly, not so much stand up week. And the difference between Jaida and Gigi for me is that Jaida has personality and is likable. So was Heidi, despite not having a polished look. Gigi just comes off like a vacant Miss Game/Aquaria to me. I feel like had she been in a more competitive season she wouldn't have made it as far.

I like Gigi too and thought her stand-up was way better than I expected it to be, given how the show previewed her stumbling. But who was it who did her puppet in the mini-challenge? They clocked her for falling back on her robot schtick after the Snatch Game success.

I love Jaida as well, and she would be a deserving winner at the end. Her stand-up was terrible, even accounting for the fact that Sherry screwed her over by running long. (Just a cringeworthy concept.) All in all, I think I somewhat agree with Ru that this has been a somewhat strong season.

Despite Jaidas bad one woman show, she still looked absolutely flawless on the runway and that lip sync was AMAZING.

Ru truly loved Heidi, we’ve never seen him give a goodbye speech as long as the one he gave her. She will definitely be on the next All Stars, he and the producers won’t pass that up.

Agreed. She was impressing me for awhile, but then it all became the same, and he's hyped himself up to be this perfectionist who can never do no wrong, but he's not living up to his own expectations, nor mine.

I loved Heidi's goodbye speech. Miss Congeniality for sure! If nothing else, she could always take over doing the voiceover of the old man on Family Guy who's always lusting after Chris Griffin, lol

Jaida Essence Hall for the win! (P.S. he's pretty cute as a dude!)

I would bet on Jaida. She’s more consistent, professional, and well-rounded than Gigi and Crystal.

Jackie was robbed. I would have loved to see her compete. She offered such a fun, unique perspective, and I thought her lip syncs were fabulous. Like Michelle said, she was Gilda Radner.

It’s all shameful because Sherry, in spite of being a disgusting creep and an awful human being, was very talented. (That save when she flubbed her line in the one-woman show: “I just had a horrible stroke and none of you did anything about it!” Hilarious.)

    • -- I agree that the vibes are there, but I can also make the case that it's a pale imitation. That Neil Winters Lounge is already a pretty classy place, but the decor make it look tackier. Those Happy Birthday signs are tragic in design and color. The tablecloths look like they've been chosen by Helen Keller. Where is Claire? We hear stupid reasons for her lateness, but we all know it's because this show is too cheap to pay for too many actors in any one episode. It makes NO sense that Victoria has that toast to Nikki without Claire's presence. And where is Cole? Off coughing somewhere? -- The rest of the show was watching people open their black invitations from Alexander Dumas -- for a party on June 13...TWO WEEKS AWAY. So we got through the entire sweeps and still no Dumas? The big sweeps reveal is a party in France in 2 weeks??? Why anyone thinks this is good soap is beyond me.
    • Chandler Massey smirked in EVERY scene in which he appeared. He's not a good actor. He cannot get into character, ever, and plays every scene like he's Chandler running into an old friend on the street. I hate it because actors should take their work seriously and respect it and everyone around them.   It's all so real, to the point where there's no sense trying to separate Drake from his character. I snarked a lot over the years about Drake Hogestyn's acting -- very arch, lots of tics, over-the-top at times -- but I also think he was a great soap star. There was so much humanity in everything he did, and he was always a comforting and stabilizing force on screen. Flashbacks on soaps are almost always special and fun, but does anyone come across as more loving and filled with humanity than John? I don't think so. DAYS has suffered a lot of loss in the past few years. For me, this one hits the hardest.
    • “I’m not a lifelong soap fan, but I sure am now,” Wolf tells PEOPLE about creating the documentary Soaps, which includes deep dives into the biggest and most successful soap operas in the industry, with a strong focus on The Bold and the Beautiful. “It reflects, in a broader way, the cultural significance of soap operas and the incredible task involved in bringing these stories to the screen every day.”
    • I have this for the 4th act on 11/9/88, which per my files, is the first time John and Stefano are in a scene together: Limo (Roman, Diana, Stefano, Milo) Then their second time together is 11/17/88 in the second-to-last act: ON LOCATION: Beach & Cliff (Diana, Roman, Stefano) I'd have to check the 2016 logs, so I don't know who shares scenes as easily in this year, but these are the last 4 episodes that John and Stefano were both in together: 1/8/16, 1/11/16, 3/1/16, 3/2/16.
    • I'm going to respond to you about this show. I've been accused of hating on it for some reason or another. But as a 53-year-old black man I do not hate this show at all. It heavily represents people like me, but I want it to be treated well and not just pushed with half-assedness, which is what I feel has happened on several occasions so far. Bad editing, bad cliffhangers, or no cliffhangers at all, disappearing characters with dropped storylines, etc. I can understand shows no longer wanting certain characters or  storylines, but why the "Judy Winslow" effect? I'm really finding it weird that Jacob doesn't mention his father or his detective partner. Jacob was smack dab in the middle of them both.
    • I love many things about BTG very much. For me, it's greatest strength is how the family relationships are so beautifully written. The deep love between family members while acknowledging each other's flaws--it's SO GOOD.  The best of the best is the two sister relationships: loving but very different sisters Dani and Nicole and adversarial sisters Kat and Eva. These two relationships can anchor the show for many years to come, in my opinion. (The one caveat is that the young and very talented Colby and Ambyr may want to leave the show sooner rather than later, but that's to be expected). My biggest problem with this show is this: Where are the romantic love stories? Where are the star-crossed lovers? Almost every character on this show is married, or in a committed relationship, or just fooling around. Right now the only potential for this are in the Ashley/Andre/Derek and Kat/Tomas/Eva situations. Like a lot of people, I feel the sooner they ditch Ashley and Derek, the better. I hate picking on actors, but the characters are so blah and bland it's like they're a parody of soap characters. I like Andre, and there's some indication they might have him become more serious about Dani, but I don't see that becoming a big love story. I could be wrong. Kat and Eva fighting over a man would be amazing. Over Tomas? No.  I've noticed on social media some people are starting to ship Kat and Jacob. I think that shows how much viewers long for a messy love story. There is much I enjoy about BTG and I have no intention of bailing on it. But over all my many years of watching soap operas, the thing that always got me the most excited about them was the question: "When are those two finally going to get together?"

Some initial thoughts.   1) a Who's who back in the day with an assortment of well known performers. 2) Surprised Debra Messing would agree to play a conservative character 3) Not surprised a network didn't pick this up because showing a conservative that is human/likable is a no no in Hollywood LOL
    • Yes from when they went on Let’s Make a Deal too. Pam stole Forrester designs for Jackie M. Of course a month later we saw Nick, Lesley, Owen, and Bridget all exit in the same episode.
