You won't get an argument from me. As much as I love CarJax, I absolutely hated what I saw yesterday. Ron just strips characters of credibility w/out a second thought!

That's been beat to death. Jill was horrible to some, but she is not the first horrible boss in Daytime. I read that Rauch had a staff member follow an actress to her car at the end of shooting just to tell the actress that what she just taped was her last tape date. I've heard real horror stories that didn't even involve Jill. Some EP are absolutely awful, and Jill is one of them.

I think it was awkwardly editing and rewritten since Carly can not speak of the love of her life anymore (Rod Banning). I appreciate the attempt to revisit history, but the AJ and Tony stuff was done years ago. I think RC/the scriptwriters/whoever had to scramble to make that scene viable after the whole PP thing.

Is it the issue out this Friday or last? The cover is just L&L?

It hasn't come out in stores yet(should Friday), it's a double cover, the back side is L&L only and the front is Star Trek with Shatner & Nimoy

oh and TV Guide considers Port Charles part of GH's history lol. They had a Caleb & Livvie pic as part of GH's timeline for the 2000's

LOL. Of course they put it on the back.

But still nice they did anything at all.

SOD had a large issue -- well, special edition separate from the normal mag (Soap Opera Weekly size) -- out for GH's 50th but I haven't scanned through it in the stores yet. I'm surprised I hadn't seen it mentioned at all anywhere here, but I guess I could have missed it.

At least they got a cover, YR didn't even get anything from TV GUIDE for their 40th

GH had the back cover, and it was an advertisement that ABC paid for in the 60th anniversary issue of TVGuide. CBS bought ads for YR40, but nothing as special as the back cover.

The cover has a bunch of little pictures over top of the L&L pic, thought that was cool

There is a rumor, that Lesley will be back onscreen later this month for the Cassadine story. I'm happy and hope it is true!!
