Best & Worst Series Finale's

Alice had Mel closing down the diner and each of the waitresses going on their way with a hefty bonus from Mel. Charlie's Angels had Kelly shot in the line of duty and hanging between life and death, with flashbacks and what-not. It would have been nice if Farrah and Kate had come back, but it was solid. Of course, it ends with a very brief glimpse of Charlie in surgical scrubs, implying that he'd helped operate on Kelly in the hospital.

Honestly, all I need for a good finale is a nice shot of the whole cast together and an over-the-top arrangement of the theme song, and I'm all tears.

Oh thanks..dont know why I dont recall them.....I will have to watch the Charlies Angels one since I have it on dvd but havent gotten to the last season.

I hated Friends' finale also.

Me three when I remember what it was. It was crap. They all just carried on, nothing big happened, that show ran 3 seasons too many.

Best: Six Feet Under - No show will ever beat this entire series' perfection.

Such a shame the show never won the Best Drama Emmy.

I also have to include Bob Newhart Show for best. I know Newhart was seen as superior, but honestly, I didn't like most of the people on Newhart. I loved many of the BNS characters and I liked the "Oklahoma" ending, especially the emotion in Suzanne Pleshette's voice.

Not a huge fan of the last years of Hill Street Blues, but I smile when I think of the scenes where Belker realized his mother, who had been his inspiration and his headache for so long, had left him a ton of money.

Best:

Family Matters: After all those years of Steve Urkel chasing Laura, that final scene of them kissing was the perfect ending. The nerd got the woman.

Growing Pain: I watched it in syndication (on Disney) b/c when it originally ran, I was just a baby, but I loved the final shot of Maggie taking the family photo from the mantle and walking around the room one final time, forever leaving behind the home where she raised Mike, Carol, and Ben.

The Parkers: A cult show to many, but the ending was good. Loved that like Urkel, Nikki got her man (Professor Ogelvee) and he married her.

Martin: Phenomenal comedy that did not get the recognition it deserved. The ending was stellar. Like Growing Pain, things came full circle for Martin as he stood in the apartment he called home for five seasons. When he scrawled "1 Luv" and "Martin" onto the wall, I was upset because this once great show was coming to an end. Great show, great ending.

Living Single: Some people think that the ending was rushed but like all my other faves, all the characters got good endings and came full circle. Overton and Synclaire were still happily married. Max & Kyle were reunited and she was pregnant. Regine got her millionaire. Khadejah was reunited with Scooter. All's Well, That Ends Well. That's how I like my endings.

Worst:

I did not care for Step By Step's ending. It didn't bring me to tears, didn't move me. Just left me blah. They wanted to sell the house but didn't. OK . . . ph34r.png

House of Payne: Just abysmal. My mom loved the show. I didn't care for it, and was not surprised. It's Tyler Perry.

Show that I loved that didn't even get an ending (b/c they were cancelled): Girlfriends, Half & Half, & Hung.

I hated The Parkers' ending and wanted Nikki to tell the professor to go to hell and marry that other man. LOL

House of Payne's finale did stink. Tyler Perry sucks.

No! LOL. Nikki and the Professor were EVERYTHING. Tossing a little shade though . . . at least they got a final episode unlike the show the spun-off from *coughs* Moesha *coughs* Just shows that Kim carried Moesha and when she left, that show went down the tubes.

I don't even acknowledge the last 2 seasons of Moesha. The fuckery with Ray J's character and how they ruined Frank (my 2nd favorite character after Kim), they deserved the ending they got.

Thank you. I hated that they gave Frank an out of wedlock child. That just killed that character and the show. Plus, hearing the rumblings of Brandi being a b*tch backstage (her mother too) was part of the reason I wanted the show to be cancelled after that season.

Yep. They ended last August. Everyone got a happy ending except for Calvin (Lance Gross). Miranda (Keisha Pulliam) asked for a divorce (why, IDK b/c Lance Gross is a sexy man tongue.png ), but the ending was VERY dramatic IMO.

I'd probably put Sopranos on the worst finale list. Either that or most ponderous and boring, like most of their last few seasons.
