I'm an incredibly optimistic person, but even I have a tiny corner in the back of my brain prepared for some sort of last minute upset. But really, at this point I think the biggest disappointment would come from these shows only surviving one season. To me, that would be most devastating. I'll just go ahead and rebuke that demon now.

This is me lol

I think about that, too. But really, at this point what can we do about it? Nothing other than watch. If they're good, they're good, if they're bad they're bad but at least a real effort is actually, truly being made. That's enough to count for something real.

Preach it.

Dragonflies, I would never classify you as an incredibly optimistic person when it comes to soaps ;)

Agreed completely with SFK and Vee--it's obvious they're not just throwing these out there to try to start their brand at PP only to drop them once they establish that--real effort is being made. It's pretty much all I could ask for at this point.

If anyone wants to make me a fancy OLTL banner, I'll take it. It can even be full of nasty insults about me.

That's good photography, close to B&B's style, which always seems to have high quality photography.

My birthday is six days before that premiere date, but it will still be like birthday present to have my past time of One Life to Live back. I'm hoping that it's better than the ABC version and I have a feeling it will be.

PP, like SONY, will make bank selling these shows internationally. AMC and OLTL have a huge international base already and these shows will air dubbed like Days all over the place. PP must be spending less than Days on production considering that the two shows share space in an old factory somewhere in CT. Also, the actors must have taken huge pay cuts--no other show wanted them. Even if the shows flop here, international sales should make enough revenue.

I'm still waiting to see if a cable network like WE picks up the shows. They have little new content and this is so low-cost.

She was a big flop without Vimal the last time, and I saw no chemistry with Cutter/Rama (or Cutter/anyone, frankly). If Vimal's not going to be around much she shouldn't either.

What, matching Indians? I'm sure they can pair Rama with a non-Indian male aside from Cutter if need be. Vimal is sort of a joke anyway. I hope Terri Conn is part of the project. The set looks cheap but I like it ;)

The "set" of both the AMC and OLTL cast photos is a beautiful, classic, historic country club. We should be so lucky to have something so authentic and classy moving forward. Alas.

I actually didn't think AMC or OLTL had done much internationally in a decade (at least...) I know AMC was popular for a time in Italy...
