Also, as much as I would have preferred CBL be approached, Eden being there for the beginning does serve a good purpose, again given Erica is MIA.

Eden though will never commit long term, so I feel it may no more of a disservice in the long run...

I just realized, what is Joe gonna do other than be the town doctor? Talk to Dixie about how much fun Tad is having at summer camp?

He can start a torrid affair with Evelyn.

Smooth.

This is Agnes Nixonville. My bet is the mysterious schoolteacher is Kitty and Kelly's triplet.

Yup, even though it seems obvious, she has to be related to them somehow. I just don't see Kelly suddenly leaving Linc and returning to Pine Valley if she didn't want to be found.

I wanna see some pictures of Brooke! Hot damn, show me the Barr!

Hell, yeah!

You oon't know what it did for my heart to see Brooke English at the top of a contract cast list in 2013. I don't think any of us could have called that even in 2010.

There's also Robin Strasser and Erika to consider at OLTL, among others, but with people like Julia Barr and David Canary and the work that was done by ABC to disenfranchise them it really is particularly like rising from the ashes.

I know, I have to pinch myself that Julia Barr, David Canary and Ray McDonnell are all on contract again!

Did I read correctly? A possible Kendall recast? Hallelu!

Girl, she better be fierce and make me forget about the past dozen years of passive Kendall.

If they ever do recast, ITA. But for now, I'd rather do without Kendall for awhile.

Jordi is just so hot. Oh the things I would do to that man.

Seriously, I hope he's the first one naked!

Very excited to see that contract cast list revealed. I am so glad Julia Barr and David Canary signed on to help anchor the show, especially considering Susan is MIA (for now).

I wonder if they will just say Erica went to Hollywood OR if she was the one that was shot and is in a coma.

I suspect they'll say she's in Hollywood and Jack left town to get over her.

I hope Ruth isn't dead :(

I wonder why they aren't bringing on Kathy or whatever her name is, Dixie's kid with Tad

I hope Peter Bartlett does come back.

I would really like it if they could get Michael Storm to pop in a few times again as Dr. Larry Wolek...that would be great.

Bartlett has a major role in the current Broadway re-imagining of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella. Early word of mouth is the re-imaginingis a mess, so I guess it'll depend on reviews how long it runs... Of course he still could do both, or filma chunk on his day off, but I suspect we won't see too much of him until after that.

Would LOVE Larry somehow returnin...

I loved the Project Orpheus storyline. It was definitely "out there" but it also made perfect sense, given David's history as an unorthodox doctor (he invented Libidizone), the helplessness he felt when he couldn't save the one person most important in his life (Leora), and his prior history of bringing people back from the dead (Maria and Greenlee).

The storyline really served to fix and undo the two most wrongful deaths of the past, namely Dixie and Stuart. Those are legacy characters that NEVER should have been killed off by McTavish and Pratt.

In my opinion, Project Orpheus was the best umbrella story to bring closure to David's character and involve the rest of the cast.

I myself am mixed on it, but I largely agree with you. And this is one case where it sounds like Agnes Nixon genuinely deserves some of the credit and/or blame, not just Broderick, at least judging from all the comments.

I didn't realise he was in that. Yeah, I'd heard the early reviews weren't great and that it was a bit was a mess.
