If the show isn't coming back, I will not be surprised, but that's the site that also had the Tony Geary story. It just seems like random mongering for page hits.

What's a "discovery motion"?

where they lay out all their evidence to both sides

Thanks John! I hope that they settle this case out of court so it won't be a long and drawn out trial! PP filed the lawsuit against ABC two weeks before AMC and OLTL premiered online, and if PP could still tape new episodes of both soaps for their first seasons online after the lawsuit was filed, then I don't see a reason why the lawsuit would prevent PP from making a second season for both shows still happen, and to ramp up production on them too!

I heard that too. Thx. I guess December is a discovery motion

How do you know this? It could be a motion to dismiss, a status conference etc. etc.

I think that come November 11, 2013, everyone will know exactly what is what ph34r.png

What's the significance of 11/11?

According to his instagram account, Robert Scott Wilson (Pete, AMC) has a recurring role playing Steve on the upcoming new Fox sitcom "Surviving Jack"!

It's just a RECURRING ROLE that RSW has on that show!

IA. I don't imagine it would be TOO difficult for the two shows to coordinate schedules if they both want him badly enough.

It's only a matter of time before more of them get snatched up, both casts are very talented and they want to work. I'm mostly surprised none of the existing soaps have picked up the younger talent. Kelly Missel shouldn't be unemployed after the great work she did on OLTL. There are also a lot of high profile vets that could easily get picked up. If Ron Carlivati wants to continue to stick it to PP and use other ABC soaps, he could bring on Debbi Morgan as her Port Charles character of Ellen. She would already know most of the characters and could easily be slotted into the hospital storyline.

You have a far more optimistic view of this industry than I do. Sadly I think the best of the PP reboots will never be seen in anything major, whereas the most forgettable will be all over the place.

I tend to agree. Acting is a tough field, and even some of the best talent has a hard time breaking out of daytime. That wasn't a problem 10-20 years ago when you could spend a career soap hopping and staying steadily employed. There just aren't as many soap jobs available anymore, and they don't pay what they used to.
