Couldn't they (and OLTL) have just cut to a brief title card after the teaser?

I'm fine with legit opening credits though I prefer to have the actors names listed with character names or no names to just character names. Maybe they will do it that every new season, they will do an updated version.

However, I willingly admit that I'm not a viewer who puts a lot of stock in opening sequences. I just don't care.

I guess I outgrew it--as a teen I found opening sequences fascinating, I was probably obsessed as Alexisfan on here is But now it's pretty much the thing I worry about the least (though I admit, I still miss back when the last theme premiered in 1990 and they had the song's vamp lead from the end of the pre-credit sequence into the credits...)

Count me in. Even pre-internet age, I skipped through the opening sequences. As far as I'm concerned, they're irrelevant. Especially on soaps where you see the same damn thing five days a week, twenty days a month!
