Too bad it sounds like that she won't be on full time, maybe ever again

It would seem ER won't be involved at all in the second round of taping as her play overlaps with it, except for the last week (and I imagine she'll want a breather at that point). After that, who knows. I don't think she'll ever go out to Conn. for a full 5 week period though.

It sounds more to me like she intends to be there regularly as her schedule permits. Why else list her as contract and photograph her with the main cast?

Reading the article about Eden, it makes me wish CBL had been asked instead. Maybe the writer's plan is to just have Bianca introduce Miranda into PV long term and then let the character go off into the sunset. If that is the case you might as well have Eden come back. But if they want to have any future with Bianca the character, Eden's "maybe I will come back maybe I won't" stuff won't fly.

Again, she's listed as a contract castmember and posing in the crazy photo shoot. I think they've gotten her as nailed down as she ever will be.

She was on contract for the two weeks she filmed, that's all it means unfortunately. Errol said as much.

But why bother making things more complicated story-wise, by working around her schedule when there was a perfectly accepted recast ready to step in full time? To me, I think it's a "maybe she'll be back".

LOL...you gotta admit though that a 2 week contract sounds dumb as hell

I think this schedule will be so fluid that they'll effortlessly weave her in and out. Frankly, I think Miranda's story will be far more prominent than Bianca's anyway.

That's not all the interview indicates to me, however. It indicates they intend to have her back if they can work it. I agree with SFK - I think the schedule is what will make it work.

Because CBL was a nice recast, but Eden Riegel is the iconic, identified Bianca beloved by most fans online and off. She was a get, particularly with neither Susan nor a Kendall in place, and they got her. Using CBL - solid though she was - to help anchor the show would not have worked. Only with a small segment of the Internet fandom would that have flown.
