Jessie was arrested because she was found with his body. Then, Diana confessed (I think because she thought Peter had done it). The murderer turned out to be Augusta (Judith McConnell) who was pregnant with Peter's baby (and I think Phil was threatening to tell Diana who was married to Peter at that time). Members VirginiaHamilton Posted March 30, 2013 Members Share Posted March 30, 2013 I'd ask how come they never developed Brian and Claudia in the same way that AMC developed Angie and Jesse (especially the former couple is just as good-looking and seems just as charismatic as the latter couple), but I'd just be pointing out the obvious difference between the way each soap treated their Black characters (the first 2-3 years of the Ward family aside).
