If RC would stop writing crap The Soup wouldn't bash the show. Serioulsy that's one of the stupid storylines going on right now.

What does the video say. I can't see it.

It listed some of the recently cancelled soaps and said GH has surived because of it's relable and spellbinding stories and then had clips from the dumb relish story!

Genie and Tony are still sublime together. I loved L&L finishing each others' sentences and the ominous music playing when Luke says I've got a bad feeling about this. I'm hoping all the Lucky mentions mean JJ is on his way back for the 50th to reunite with Genie and Tony.

Scotty, you're never going to win over Luke for real, accept it and move on already.

Sonny has jumped the shark for the 50th time. He sank lower than I could ever expect with this rancid it's been five months whine. Kate surprised me and channeled some real disgust.

Soap opera gods save me from more of RH's comedic, goofy schtick. He's been pulling this duncehead act since 2001 and it's beyond annoying to watch it.

Did I catch ME close to yawning over yesterday's jailhouse scenes? MSE.

I don't find it stupid. It's remembering a classic Q storyline and honoring Anna Lee & John Ingle by keeping Edward & Lila part of the story.

Sounds about right!

Sigh...

No it's just stupid and boring and if this is supposed to honor them it's doing a bad job.

Well you can't please everybody. I find the story to be pure classic Quartermaine antics, and I like that.

I like it too. The Qs are in a story. It's better than killing them off!

Fighting over relish isn't much better.

But there's more to it than the relish. This about the battle for ELQ, the search for Lauren Frank, and to solve a mystery left behind by Edward & Lila.

Thats cool if you feel its honoring the Q history.

It however is written as comedy and played as it, and poorly so. It very much belongs on The Soup.

It was written as comedy back in 1985 too. But those were the days when GH pretty much was entirely a comedy. If The Soup had existed back then, they would have been able to play entire episodes of GH on their show.

I think the relish story is borderline ridiculous in a sense, but it does play on history, it's using two great actors, and IMO, it's been a highlight. Could I do without some aspects? Um ... yeah.

I also think GH needs better scriptwriters.

GH had better scriptwriters, but they were all fired to bring in the Sh!t Team from OLTL! You can tell it's a different team because the daily dialogue is atrocious. The lack of consistency from writer to writer is jarring. One script writer should carry an arc as they hope it ends w/in a year because I can't imagine anyone wanting to write Rancid Falconeri's "story" for more than a few months.

It's not like the original Pickle Lila plotline was a hard hitting social issues story either. The Quartermaines all living above Kelly's and Lila working the lunch shift? It is what it is. I think it's a sweet callback to the past which allows for an interesting ELQ story that actually holds my attention.
