I hear the company behind USA hit Royal Pains has inked deals with SAG-AFTRA and DGA for the soaps’ production, eyed to begin in the first quarter of 2013.

nuAJ is definitely not a soap hunk, so they're not openly casting for models only. The Miranda girl wasn't a model either, was she?

This is awful, maybe (?), but I'm more willing to accept a bad actor who is quirky-looking and not model-perfect. Again, my Degrassi-tastes shining through.

Of course we'd all have liked Linda Gottlieb. But Susan Bedsow Horgan has a solid track record, a lot of good work under her belt on both OLTL and CBS soaps, and her tenure at OLTL is largely remembered fondly by a lot of people. She's the next best thing AFAIC.

And it's Erika Slezak.

I don't know her work at CBS and she's an improvement over campy RC, IMO. We'll have to agree to disagree on fond memories as 96 was been largely panned.

I like men who are kinda... "thick". Definitely not fat, but a little meat on their bones, I guess (?). Kinda hard to describe. Fit fat? LOL. No, not really fat. They still look good, just not chiseled to filth.

I'm remembering little Adam, who always looked so doped up, and this dude literally looks like the grown up version of him but not doped up. He's not a hunk but he's not bad at all especially with his hair like it is in the picture.
