Members EricMontreal22
I know Kennedy has done regional theatre, but haven't heard of anything else. As for Fjord Spitb...err Finn Wittrock I doubt he would ever do it at this point. I know there were rumours about him leaving the role, or being fired, but either way one was that he wanted to remain based in New York to pursue theatre. This year alone he just had a hugely high profile lead role in the Phillip Seymore Hoffman revival of Death of a Salesman where he got great reviews, and he got great reviews this Fall in the Chicago revival of Sweet Bird of Youth oposite Diane Lane--he's become a theatre actor very quickly who is seen to as a go to guy when a strong 20something male actor is needed. As much as I thought he saved a poorly written character and wouldn't mind him joining the younger set on an online AMC (I really really liked him in the role, and hated how quickly they got rid of him), it would be incredibly stupid at this stage of his career and kill any momentum he is so rapidly gaining in theatre. (I guess unless they for some reason decide to film in New York...) When directors like Mike Nichols and David Cromer, reportedly, ask specifically for you to audition for them and then cast you, it makes zero sense. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RI1BX26Y_DQ
Members EricMontreal22
Sadly Hal Corley, who is a really friendly and smart guy, has no desire to return to soaps (though at their peak, he seems to have thought writing on AMC and the writer's community was hugely fun). Members EricMontreal22
He's in the season 2 trailer being in jail with Anjelica saying something like "what did you do". So it could just be a one or two episode thing.
Members Steve
ITA with Lorraine Broderick as headwriter for AMC and I'd like to have Richard Culliton as co-headwriter. From what I've seen of Culliton's work as headwriter on GL, AW and AMC, I've always felt he was fired prematurely. For the rest of the team, I'd want Carolyn Culliton, Jeff Beldner, Addie Walsh, Michelle Patrick and Kate Hall.

Members MissLlanviewPA
If OLTL comes back, well, do I REALLY need to tell you who I want to see back? That is all.
Members ChitHappens
^^^ I'd certainly give it a chance if Fiona were back. The great thing about OLTL's reboot is that Craptini would not be involved.
Members Khan
I was so sure you were going to surprise us all, Miss Llanview, and say you wanted Wanda back. Ah well.

Members quartermainefan
Finn Wittrock Is such a classic soap tale. Not good enough for a soap while the likes of Cameron Mathison last years on end, and yet he is somehow good enough for Death Of A Salesman, Tennessee Williams, and the entire audience of non-soap watchers and casting agents. Daytime never gets it right.
Members JONNYSBRO
The thing is Lorriane Broderick is under contract with NBC/Ken Corday. She can't just exit her contract to work on AMC. I doubt they would let her out plus why would Lorriane take a paycut to write AMC online. I love Lorriane but she has a good gig at DAYS that pays more money and I highly doubt NBC would let her out of her contract. People don't seem to get how contracts work. She has a contract with NBC for a couple years.
Members KMan101
They could let her out. It could happen. I doubt she would want to right away but who knows? And while money talks, who is to say shes happy at Days? We cant always assume or know what these people will do. Contracts aside.
Members ChitHappens
Am I wrong for believing that a total unknown should probably take a crack at these reboots in regards to HW?
Members RavenWhitney
with smith and pepperman as ep choices, dont expect any veteran soap writers. PP will be going cheap so expect to see a casiello, fissell, jill hurst, martha byrne, chappell.....crystal friended pepperman immediately after the announcement on facebook. hmmmm. Members ChitHappens
Is this necessarily a bad thing? Look at what the so called veteran/experienced writers are churning?
