WTF!!!!!

EXCLUSIVE: Here is a great holiday gift for soap fans: I’ve learned that Prospect Park has revived its plan to continue cancelled ABC daytime dramas All My Children and One Life To Live online. I hear the company behind USA hit Royal Pains has inked deals with SAG-AFTRA and DGA for the soaps’ production, eyed to begin in the first quarter of 2013.

No. Both AMC and OLTL will be filming in Stamford, Connecticut now.

Ok..cool, they are bringing back AMC back to the East Coast. I happy with Stamford, still very close to NYC.

Nancy Williams Watt was one of the head writers of Guiding Light in 1994. She and Patrick Mulcahey became head writers around March 1994 and were soon joined by others, including Leah Laiman, Millee Taggart, and Stephen Demorest. I believe there were five or six co-head writers at one point.

I don't trust Nancy Williams Watt to be good at HW'ing. She attempted to do just that with Douglas Anderson at GL and they were awful.

His career seemed to slide into the toilet after MC ended. Everett continued to work sparingly till his death. I'm surprised he didn't wind up doing a long-term soap gig (daytime or primetime). You would think Aaron Spelling would have latched onto him for Dynasty, The Colby's or built a series around him. He did do one episode of Hotel with his old TV rival James Brolin (they were friends in real life). I saw on youtube he did an interview on Dick Cavett in 1972 where he appeared to have been drinking. The other guest was Lily Tomlin. Chad was discussing an upcoming TV special he had done about animals. He joked/commented that his wife being the most beautiful animal he owned. Lily Tomlin was disgusted and walked off the set. It was awkward and cringy. When he first came out, he handed Lily a paper bag that supposedly had panties in it.
He also tried singing during his MC years and cut a couple of albums that were super cheesy.

I'd never heard that story about BK Perlman. I actually enjoyed RH more during the brief strike period than I did the rest of that year.
I find 1988 strike-period ATWT fascinating as you can see the outlines (for instance, the building up of the Langes, the arrival of Hank Elliot) yet there are a slew of moments which go extremely off the rails; the whole Laura mystery turning into very woozy '50s noir; in such a short space of time Lien and Pam being held hostage, especially since Robert Tyler was wasted when in another universe he would have been the ideal Marland angsty cornfed hero. The show becomes much pulpier alongside the more traditional elements (the episode where Betsy learns the truth about Josh/Meg having some lovely moments with Mac's daughter accepting Nancy).
Those little moments like the one with Kim and Seth always stand out for me because Marland just had such a specific style and focus on relationships (I don't remember Betsy and Kim ever being as close under his pen, although they were still a part of each other's life). It's interesting seeing the show briefly broken free of those constraints, although when they were permanently broken free...you see the end results in 1993 and 1994.
I do wonder if he still would have had the same plans for Meg/Josh if not for the strike. I suppose Jennifer Ashe wanting to leave also made that easier (not sure if it was Bill Fichtner's choice to leave or not).
I still wonder if the strike affected any of his plans for Beau and Pam too as they didn't exactly have great material from then on and then Marland dumped them both less than a year later.

HPV related cancers are not restricted to the site of initial infection because HPV infects squamous cells which line many organs. The key with these types of cancers is the HPV infection has to be persistent and long lasting (in a lot of people they clear on their own after a year or two thanks to the body's immune system and do not persist). That is why the HPV vaccine is important: it protects against persistent infection which can later turn into cancer cells in multiple parts of the body, wherever there are squamous cells, not just wherever the initial site of infection was.
Suzanne is a lovely lady and I hope she enjoys many years of good health ahead of her.

Why? Surfer girl put on Lunacy uniform after Luna stole her clothes. Of course, when Baker saw a mangled up female body with dark hair in the uniform, he assumed... It's least it's better than a toe.
