I'm nervous about that too. Unlike the OLTL headwriter news, PP hasn't confirmed Marlene MacPherson yet, either. I suspect they might not have decided on any headwriters for AMC.

Personally, I hope they get somebody who knows AMC's history well and is willing to utilize it. Both Pratt and Kreizman/Swajeski proved that the storytelling isn't as good when the writers ignore the past (specifically for K&S, the Jane story could've been so much better if she'd turned out to be someone Erica knew instead of just a random woman who idolized her).

Wow. Just read the Character Description for OLTL's character they are trying to cast. That sounds like a very layered character. At least the character seems more layered than characters in recent years.

How reliable is Nelson? Sad about the Matthew recast. I loved EA. Praise god about Destiny though.

No doubt, casting breakdowns under the Frank Valentini era read more like personal ads in the back of certain magazines: "Long-running daytime drama seeks HOT GUYZ! Must be too young to have a driver's license! Must be hung like a horse & cut like a bitch! No body hair! NO TALENT, NO PROBLEM!!!"

I'm so happy their recasting Matthew and Destiny. I wouldn't mind Billy Douglas returning. Was he a friend of Joey's or Kevin's? I wonder if that means they plan on having one of them on.
