Members Pine Charles
I don't know who Molly Burnett! is...but they should recast her with Kenya. No?
Members Cheap21
LOL...bumping into a wall. I dont think that was supposed to be caught on film but they kept it in there anyway and someone noticed it when it aired. She looked like she was bored as hell at the scene that was playing before her
Members Mr. Vixen
I am DONE I think that's the funniest soap moment I've ever seen
Members dragonflies
looks like she's banging her head against the wall out of sheer boredom with MarDar's writing
Members EricMontreal22
Favoured or not, it could be as simple as they approached Susan Bedsow Horgan, due to her history with the show. She has a strong friendship and rapport with Thom Racina (who, on his own, wouldn't be ideal for AMC anyway), so it was a natural fit. I don't think it has to do so much with one show being favoured over another...
Members EricMontreal22
...I think that was what Cheap said while posting the image... (and kinda hysterical--please tell me she was at least in the scene before, and not just wandering around behind the sets...)
Members EnglishTea
I also think that Agnes Nixon will have more to do with AMC than OLTL as the past indicates.
Members R Sinclair
UNPOPULAR OPINION: I'm starting to wish Agnes Nixon would drop dead already so we can finally be rid of "Agnes is consulting..." "Agnes is ghostwriting..." "It's a good sign that Head Writer #36 said she met with Agnes..." For God's sake, the woman is 85 years old!
Members EricMontreal22
Ha but if anything (or everything) on the new reboot is bad we will get a ton of "I guess Agnes Nixon isn't actually consulting" posts...
Members Chris B
LOL This amuses me! I wonder just how much consulting she'll be doing. Considering these are upstarts, she should want them to both be good starting off. I'd expect, as a true consultant, that she be going over story plans, the tones of these shows, etc. If these shows suck then I will place the blame on her somewhat since they wanna play it like she's a true consultant. It's so disappointing to know Harding Lemay had chances to come back to soaps and that never happened.
Members Khan
R is right, ya know. We need to stop using Agnes Nixon's involvement in stories, no matter how nebulous, as a crutch to get us through things. One day, she's going to be gone, and we're still going to be saying, "Well, I heard they consulted the ouija board and Agnes said 'Y...E...S'. (Then again, Leah or Megan might've been moving the planchette.)"
Members Vee
I guess this is as close to confirmation in English as we get from Robin Strasser. God love her.
Members JackPeyton
she reminds me of that crazy old cat lady who lives in the creepy house all the kids in town are scared of.
