Members doolfan
So what celebrites do you guys know of that love soaps? I know Princess Diana and Elizabeth Taylor loved GH and Billy Currington loves GH. Reba McEntire was an All My Children fan and Julia Roberts loves DAYS. Wasn't Dolly Parton a One Life to Live fan or All My Children? I can't remember.

Members EricMontreal22
I thought Reba, when she hosted Daytime to Remember claimed One Life was her fave. Sammy Davis Jr was a big ABC Daytime fan--I believe AMC and One Life especially. Carol Burnett of course was an AMC fan from early on thanks to her kids till the bitter end--she would even make her agent recap it for her when she travelled. WHen I get home I'll pull out my AMC and OLTL trivia books, they have a huge list of this. Some football team (New Orleans?) would watch AMC during their practice breaks and loved the show so much that the show did that appearance with Erica meeting them. Liz Taylor also watched AMC (and had that cameo on it). Tennessee WIlliams in his, as he called it "Stoned Age" where I think eh sayt at home drunk and high a lot LOVED and spoke very highly of the soaps in the late 60s and the 70s. I guess Elizabeth Berkley liked OLTL http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uSWzO9FCgXY ANd this guy (who?) likes GH? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WWWYle-VGac Randolph Duke (a fashion guy? No clue) likes AMC http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V0UH-UHPqM4 And Mel B too? http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=5bhoGhxBB58&feature=endscreen The thing is when did Mel B watch AMC? I know she lives sometimes in the US but it barely aired in the UK (same with Lady Di and GH--during the height of GH mania it didn't air in the UK...) Members doolfan
Maybe it was One Life that was Reba's fave. I know for a fact though it was an ABC soap. lol. What about Dolly Parton? I thought she said she was a fan of a soap but I can't remember. Didn't she make an appearance on One Life to Live? Maybe she was a One Life fan. Members EricMontreal22
Roseanne was a big OLTL fan--she had that fantasy sequence withthe Buchanen men (I think she may have done a Luke and Laura thing too). I had to look up who Thurgood Marshall was...

Members SFK
If you weren't Canadian, I'd cyber-slap you. Yes, and Ronnie even wrote a letter, I think to Augusta (?), when she fell ill.
Members Khan
Wodehouse watched THE EDGE OF NIGHT as well, as did Cole Porter, Tallulah Bankhead, and the Kennedys. And Stephen King watched AS THE WORLD TURNS, too, back in the day. Specifically, when he was in college, and he wasn't busy reading sci-fi novels and generally loafing around the house, not writing anything. I think he grew up to be such a hottie. Members Bright Eyes
When he tweeted about Greg and Jenny it made me love him so much more. Bette Davis watched Another World. She even wrote some actor a letter about how great his perfomance was, I forget who exactly though. And 50 Cent has said that he loved Peggy Mitchell on EastEnders. Then there is, of course, Snoop Dogg.
