    To me, he will always be Tony Nelson on I Dream of Jeannie first, as I watched that show on Nick at Nite and TV Land as a kid, but of course, I know how legendary he was as THE J.R. Ewing, too.

    Ironically enough, I just continued my very slow effort to get all of the Dallas DVDs today. I'm definitely going back tomorrow to get the next one.

    Oh my...I can only imagine the dark cloud that will now loom over the promising second season of new Dallas. That cast is gonna be in mourning for a long time.

    Wow! This was unexpected. Despite his age and the fact that he was fighting cancer, you just couldn't tell. He was a true fighter. Wow. I'm so shocked and saddened as a HUGE HUGE fan. :( This is terrible.

    Devastating news. Larry Hagman was an amazing actor and definitely the highlight of Dallas and it's reboot. So sad for his family and friends at this difficult time. RIP. :(
