Frankly, I hope Jason MORGAN stays dead. If Jason Quartermaine comes back, I'm all for it. But that emotionless sack of steroids can stay in the harbour forever for all I care.

I'd rather not see him go through the many cliches of bringing someone back from the dead and getting ruined i nthe process. How I hate that evil twin is the one who really died crap or the faked death to "protect" love ones crap.

I can go along with that. Especially since he died onscreen, and as much as they had to retcon AJ, it works to have him back, whereas Alan, who's had more than a few moments of relative insanity, would be ripe for Cartini's Instant Psycho syndrome, which they would explain away in every interview with "he tried to kill Monica and Rick LOL!"

In general, I'm in favor of death being permanent. There's nothing cheaper than making a huge, snot-extracting "funeral" a showcase for the "surprise" entrance of the presumed deceased. Of course, I was gladder for some funerals (Brad, ATWT) than others (Maureen, GL), but crap like Y&R's Cane bleeding out on the church steps and having more lives than some Vampire is pureBS.

ITA especially with Cane his death scene was one of the better done ones under MAB and it was so stupid to bring him back to life with the lame evil twin plot. Especially since it wa sso obviously rewritten. Why would Cane's hateful twin tell Lily he loved her and risk his life for hers?

I had the strangest random soap dream last night where it was revealed that DAYS' Dr. Colin Murphy showed up alive again. I'd have to say a big NO to that, since Jenn & Nicole don't need yet another man to fight over...
