Don't you just love Monica blaming Carly for AJ shooting Alan? That was the Qs and their hatred for one another. Monica and Alan hated their own son and pitted him against Jason at every opportunity! But whatever. I'm enjoying it.

1a. While I'm still skeptical on whether this roasting the Slagbeast over a spit will last longer than a week (as I've been burned too many times by this show to immediately embrace this joyous occasion as a new day), it warmed the cockles of my heart to see Monica do what she should've done ages ago. My only regret is that Monica didn't follow that slap by stomping her down like the the greasy roach that she is.

While I've never had any use for Big Alice (I'm a Reginald fan forever), I'll gladly become a fan of hers if she does this to the Slagbeast today:

1b. While I'm also still skeptical about the return to prominence of The Real AJ (as I've been burned by Ron before when it comes to his refusal to sacrifice his faves for far more appealing characters), it also warms my heart that he chose not to run out (though I certainly wouldn't have blamed him if he obeyed his mother after that delicious slap) and endure the Slagbeast's petty bullsh!t as a means to reach out to Eeyore.

If Eeyore actually follows through in giving his father a chance while changing his name to the rightful surname of Quartermaine, I may just refer to him by his given name.

2a. Seeing Faison in all his batshit glory almost brought me to tears of joy. It's been too long since I've seen my favorite GH villain and to see AH step back into the role seamlessly (as SK has with AJ) in the span of 2 seconds made me smile. Although I was glad to see that the Real Duke is alive (though, not well), I will have to snatch the crown from him to bestow on Faison's bedraggled head as the best damn character on this show right how. To say that I cannot wait to see the level of evil that he has cooking is an understatement, so I will simply thank Cartini a thousand times for bringing this treasure back into my soap life.

2b. Not that I am surprised, but my Robin has been on fire lately - all the more reason why showkillers Guza/JFP/Frons' refusal to give her character decent storylines throughout her second stint was criminal. I'm so thrilled that Cartini value my girl as more than just Sonny & the roided goiter's asslicker/Patrick's wife and are rightfully utilizing her almost-30-year history on this show. Her faceoff with Faison is a prime example of why Robin Scorpio is not only the Daughter of Port Charles, but one of soaps' all-time most valuable characters.

It is with this in mind that I thank Cartini for recognizing her/KMc's worth to this show in a way that the rancid previous regime never did.

Get OUT of my head. I gave up GH during Guza's last two years and swore I would never ever go back. Everything I had cherished about the show had been burned to the ground. While I still eye Carlivati with trepidation (I'm still not sure he loves Duke as much as I do; and I can't EVEN with Queen Luke), I am back to watching GH full-time after last week. And enjoying every minute.

Truly I never thought I would see the day when the show has a true-blue, over-40, smart, beautiful heroine, but it does in Anna Devane.

Never did I think that Snarly would ever be called out on her [!@#$%^&*], ESPECIALLY what she did to AJ, the whipping-boy humiliated in order to prop up Jason and Sonny -- but it's happening. And by Monica no less!

Never did I think Robin would get a Scorpio-worthy story outside of fighting off all the women throwing themselves at her self-righteous ass of a husband!

Never did I think Cesar Faison (aka Lorenzo Alcazar's hair inspiration) would return -- because god forbid this show have villains who are smarter and just all-around BETTER than that idiot mob dwarf and his dead-eyed sidekick.

Toups is right. This is the best soap by a country mile right now.

I can't with Dante's ass trying to say at least Sonny didn't kidnap children. WOW bc shooting your own son in his chest is SOOOO much better.
