Sizzling hot fireworks? Honestly...

Promo monkey 1: "Hey, this spot needs to be ready by the weekend. What should we say?"

Promo monkey 2: "It's the Fourth of July and half the country is burning under a heat wave. Let's just go with the usual heat...summer...hot..fireworks stuff we always do. It's not like anyone watches these things anyway. Now where did I put that bong?"

John stopped caring about them even before OLTL ended. And still no chemistry either.

It just shows how awful the writing is - these women lost children a month ago, a few months ago, and are already focused on their manly men.

Rich, ain't it? Why do you think they had to tear Jason down? It was the only way to make the bathless mumbler look good. Jason would have been there for his raped wife and would not suggest she throw the kid away! But something had to overshadow John leaving his kid to hang under another man's wife. HATE HIM!

:(

I know many hate the OLTL transplants but if anyone should've came it should've been someone like Brody whose move to Port Charles would actually make sense. John makes me sick. He chastised Natalie for what she did and then turns around and cheats on her.

I've never cared for Natalie and McBain. They should never have killed Jared. She was good with Jared and they could have made her and Brody or her and Christian work.

I've never cared for Sam and Jason so I don't care if she kisses McBain. She gets to have the hitman and the man with the passion for the law fighting over her for whatever that's worth.

Elizabeth shouldn't be in this at all. How yucky if she has to pass time with McBain for them to play quad games.

They're just using her so Jason can have a toy while they see what they want to do about Sam and McBain. They should have gotten a temporary doll for Jason instead and left Elizabeth to make new friends with someone who is not looking for a box of pain substitute.

    • I'll even go further... I'll make her re-think BeLief and create a new patent. Brooke needs stuff to do. Anything other than beg or be in her panties. We need her to be creative. But sadly Bradley has a very low opinion of these characters. To him Brooke is nothing more than sex and scandal... or a pathetic doormat. Ridge is nothing more than a chauvinist pig that needs to pit women against each other to feel like A MAN and Steffy is nothing more than her father's guard-dog. I don't even want to open my mouth about Hope. She is such a fiasco in my opinion... I will not suffer if they kill her off. Bradley pooped on her character and now it's too late to fix it. Annika is great and I would hate to see her go, but slutty Hope was not her thing. The vibe was missing.
    • I've seen Jason interact with Mitch and annoy him. That's as far as I recall. I didn't even have a slight idea that Evan had a vendetta against Rachel... That came as a surprise to me. I thought Evan was Iris's dog and that's it. Now he's definitely more interesting.
    • Thanks for these. I can't recall -- did Evan's vendetta have any position on Mitch, or was it all about Rachel? @Maxim have you seen any Frames intreracting with Mitch in any way?
    • Thank you for the tag! It's always a pleasure to see these little pearls of memories.
    • Uh-oh. Today just might’ve been the first Paula/Jeanne stinker. I have a feeling whose fault that might be though. So, Doug III is getting a job at the Pub?  It’s good to see him interact with other characters. I enjoyed his scenes with Roman, even though the talk of Frankie and Max seemed a little random. And it also could be really interesting now that Tate knows. Days really need to start pushing their rivalry again. We need some follow up from the punch. Tying it all to Holly, to Sophia’s pregnancy, to the guys that Doug III owes money to could be good.  But yeah, wayyy too much Leo again in today’s episode. Seriously, has anything changed with this nothing character? I thought it was all Ron’s fault, but maybe Greg Rikaart is (partially) responsible for Leo being so insufferable.  And yeah seriously, Rafe needs to throw all of these people out of his house. Including Gabi

But I do wonder who’s the mysterious voice that Gabi overheard with EJ on the night he was shot. Based on yesterday’s episode, I have a suspicion.
    • Add me to the group of people who think that Brandon has improved. He has. There's no doubt about it. Especially compared to the beginning. And he's improving in a way that... it makes me think that he realizes what the issues are and is addressing them. Of course, he's no master of acting at this point... but I don't cringe as much as I did. And I've seen people in Bold... I won't even have to name names, because everyone knows who they are... who are becoming even worse than what they were offering in the first place. So... I'm happy that in BTG... people are actually blossoming and improving. It surely means that the atmosphere is creative and nurturing talent.  BUT and it's a big butt... his relationship with his husband is still so lacking and ghastly. I am craving to see more action from these guys. I want to see Smitty's character. If he has any.
    • Thank you. You guys come to the rescue again. I'll take a look later.   Thank you for the info!!! Now I find myself less confused. You and @DRW50 are amazing.
    • I know Passions used this trope with Ethan and Sam to drag out the paternity, but GH seems to speed through certain stories while dragging others.
    • For any other soap, I think I’d agree, but GH, I don’t know

    • Agreed, that there was some strange choices in the episode, especially at the end, but overall, that was some great drama that opens up the potential for so much future storyline. Kat vs. Eva having the most potential, especially over Tomas. I have mixed feelings about Martin/BC though. I thought he did pretty well in scenes with Smitty/MM, but the scenes of him confronting Leslie and of him throwing the books were bad lol she acted circles around him.  It’s similar to what Harding Lemay said about George Reinholt at AW; he could be brilliant in one scene, but then mediocre in the next.
