SoapBoy, this is what I said early on. I'm not real big on controlling what people talk about. I'm all for us sitting around, cracking a few bottles of JD and taking the pig out of the pit where it's been roasting overnight. If you want to crack on the OL Bozos, be my guest. No sacred cows here, not even LW or TG no matter who worships them.

Mostly I wanted to get away from any thread where we had to bow and scrape to anyone, Cartooni in particular. I got tired of being told I had to worship the ground the buffoons walked on.

All I ask is keep it civil and no name-calling. Don't call out other posters for having an opinion. Keep the trolling to a minimum. Marquis of Queensbury rules.

I think it's the nature of message boards. SON has decreased traffic now, I miss some people, but overall I'd say that there's a lot less drama than a few years ago.

The drama was more interesting when there was more conversation about the shows stories. But theres not a whole lot left that's interesting to discuss. The one good thing about SON is it hasn't been overrun by Fangurls of couples like most of the others have. Fanbase wars hamper having any kind of real discussion.

I don't think I could sit through every day couple wars on this board. If you want to gush about your favorite couple all the time and not have people say anything negative, go to a fanboard.

I might find it easier to listen to someone gush about JaSam all day than listen to some talk about how Liz is the biggest [!@#$%^&*] and worst mother on the planet because of something she did 5...6...14 years ago.

I wasn't here a few years ago and haven't gotten involved in anything, but I couldn't imagine it being worse. Wow.

There were ugly wars based on Jackie Zeman's plastic surgery, among other topics. It was interminable.
