So, I'm all caught up.

The McBain/Sonny/Irrelevant Sister backstory reveal was so anti-climactic.

I, too, am confused about these multiple personalities. Especially since Pregnant Connie, who is 17 and still in Bensonhurst, doesn't have an accent -- even though Evil Connie, who is living and functioning in the present, does.

Lulu's back to being as dumb as a box of rocks. "This isn't about us. It's about ME!" Like, really, idiot? That's how you keep a marriage together?

All the girls  Luke! Okay, but my question is... Why? mellow.png

This writing team is sooooo subtle when it comes to dropping these goddamn anvils. <_<

Speaking of which, if they're going to keep this reality show garbage storyline, can they at least write and shoot it like an actual reality show? This thing is coming across like Kristina making a home video.

Word to your mother. What's with this? While she has been written as a mess, Heather has also been written so far as someone who appreciates practical thinking people--what draws her to Luke? Anna has been shown to be attracted to needy men before but they have also always been ones who have had a huge veneer of success--whether as a spy or a doctor or whatever, similar to her--what draws her to Luke? Tracy's motivation makes a bit more sense (even if it seems to be written right now into playing the kinda misogynistic "I hate him so much but I LOVE him and he makes me feel alive!" issue)--but I still have no idea what draws her to Luke. Soon Monica is no doubt going to be going after his ass, as will Epiphany.

Yes, I didn't either but it's a great point (and one that a decent director should have pointed out).

The reality show stuff continues to be laughable...it's not even how reality shows are structured or filmed. I hope no network picks up that disaster.

Is there still a possibility that Kate's son could be Sonny's and not her rapists...if so, and the child is that producer guy Trey, then I totally could see RC going the incestuous route and having him & Kristina pork before they realize they're really Bro and Sis. Oh and she'd be pregnant too.

This is friggin embarassing. Both Tracy and Anna are making a fool of themselves over Luke. He's not worth it!

I kinda liked that Carly hugged Sam. I was a good moment and I liked Spinelli showing up and saying he loved her.

WTH did Todd show up outside the cemetary? I thought he drove Carly at first but he went on his own. I hope he feels like a PoS

Jason has ELQ stock?

I just don't buy Carly trying at support or warmth. Never, ever, ever. Even in the days when I adored the character I wouldn't buy it. Maybe with Tamara Braun, since she was so different from the others.

Watching today, I was reminded of the final months of Another World where what it really had going for it was its cast. I particularly enjoy JE, TG, FH, and RM, the "soap royalty", if you will. And you could put Susan Lucci's head on Finola's body, anyone else notice the physical resemblance today?

A baby switch? How exhausting. Just like AMC/OLTL's last big one, it's like, hurry up and get it over with already, we all know how it's going to turn out. And how the [!@#$%^&*] fragile do people think women are? I mean, I realize Jessica Buchanan was a lunchbox and static cling would set her off on a new personality, but if anyone could handle something like this it would be screechy tough as nails Tea. It's all so stupid, played out, and insulting.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
    • Maybe I'm still in denial, but nothing about Neighbours' ongoing social media output gives the vibe of a show that's ending. In today's 'Roundup' video, Alan Fletcher referenced that production finishes in five weeks, but in all the show's posts the cast are as jovial and lighthearted as ever. Remarkably so for people who are about to lose their jobs.    Perhaps they're just putting a brave face on things, and I know they approached the previous axing with a positive attitude. Maybe putting an upbeat face on things is a collective way of showing potential backers that there's still life in the show? Or is it possible that they already know the show has been saved, and we'll get an announcement next month when filming wraps and the show 'rests'?   Does any of that make sense?!
    • A very good week for male eye candy on GH. New Michael is beautiful, Curtis's arms looked great in that polo shirt, Cody looks even more handsome with his new haircut AND we got Marco in swim shorts rocking his lovely bod and chest fur.

    • Yeah when Jamey Giddens did breakdowns for DAYS, he would sometimes state in tweets that specific things were his idea that he had pitched to Ron.
    • I don't, since they've clearly incorporated them into Tomas' storyline, and I happen to like his tattoos, but his jackets not fitting doesn't mean they're trying to cover his tattoos. The clothing overall isn't the issue; it's the fit. And I expect(ed) more from Jeresa Featherstone and her team. Very disappointed. He's the only male, overall, whose costume irritates me.
    • "And OMG, watching the scenes of Roger's return in comparison...the quality in the writing really nosedived. The stupid mask." Very much agreed.  Having Roger hide behind a mask for weeks/months, with it culminating with him swinging in on a vine at Blake/Phillip's wedding....geez.  So juvenile. IMO, Guiding Light never did a good job reintroducing major characters, either from the dead or elsewhere.  Masked balls = awful.  Amish = awful. When Reva was brought back from the dead, she should've just showed up in Springfield as Reva, and informed everyone that she had been gone for years because she felt like it.  She had a four-year fling with some dude who ended up dumping her due to disloyalty. Josh would be pissed and declare that their love is not *always* but *sometimes* and he'd act accordingly.  Her kids would hate her.
    • Agreed. The Emmys next year are gonna be a pretty tough competition and I hope we get a Days sweep lol  Not only does Deidre deserve a nomination for these last few weeks, but I also think Paul Telfer, Raven Bowens, Carson Boatman, Dan Feuerriegel and Alison Sweeney have good chances as well.
    • It’s not about a lack of faith and trust in MVJ, it’s about a a lack of faith and trust in Ron Carlivati, who I think can be very sneaky and manipulative when he wants to be.  And, all that “He’s just a breakdown writer” talk never changed my mind about anything, because at Days, it was “just a breakdown writer” that gave us some of the worst episodes I’ve ever seen.
