August 9, 201213 yr Member Look how young Robin looks in this version. In the next version she was with Stone. So weird.
August 9, 201213 yr Member Other than LnL's wedding, what would have been some good 80s episodes to choose from? Edward faking a heart attack when Tracy withheld his medication. Luke coming back from the dead and finding Holly had married Robert. Duke "dying" in an explosion only to find out later he went into the witness protection plan. Alan trying to kill Monica and Rick. I could go on, but you get the point.

August 9, 201213 yr Member Nope. You'll have to beat me to it though. I also wish I could go back in time and run my fingers through Mac's sexy Jheri-curl. Meanwhile, I'll be heading over to check out one of the sexiest distinguished older men ever, Dr. Alan Quartermaine .

August 9, 201213 yr Member Other than LnL's wedding, what would have been some good 80s episodes to choose from? Luke seeing Laura alive, the transformation of Lucy Coe (which to this day has to be one of the most memorable moments ever for GH and it didn't have a word of dialogue), Sean and Tiffany's wedding gets my vote for best wedding.
August 9, 201213 yr Member So glad BJ's heart won. Amazing episode. I'm sorry I couldn't watch it. I've been away, which is why I haven't been posting much. I will watch on youtube soon. Hope all is well with you all.
August 9, 201213 yr Member Sean and Tiffany's wedding gets my vote for best wedding. I LOVE Sean & Tiffany's wedding. Donelys3 put up a version on their channel that includes pop up commentary. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X1Ga9BsO7QU So glad BJ's heart won. Amazing episode. I'm sorry I couldn't watch it. I just put on Sean & Tiffany's wedding. That will help .
August 9, 201213 yr Member I didn't even know I still got SoapNet (I've had no reason to watch it since most cable companies dropped it, so I just assumed that mine did, too) but I read about this episode and the possibility that BJ/Maxie would win and I was so glad to discover that I do! Just lovely. In addition to some of the most beautifully written scenes in daytime history, it was like a time capsule of how soaps at their best were once structured. While Bobbie/Tony/BJ/Maxie/Felicia's story was reaching a climax that was many months in the making, there were Ned and Lois, happy (and adorable together) but having clearly reached a point in their relationship where he couldn't extricate himself from the lies he had told her in the beginning - which I knew in hindsight but could have inferred just from these scenes would all blow up in his face eventually. And you had the seeds being planted (no pun intended) for another historic story...if memory serves, Laura found the body of Mary Mae's (and Edward's) son while she was planting that garden. IMO, GH at this time was closer to perfection than any soap has gotten since, or arguably before. It's an utter shame that nobody in charge in daytime has the patience to pull off anything like that now.
August 10, 201213 yr Member Original Edward! Monica before she was "stretch tight" Baby AJ. Rick Webber before Laura killed him Leslie!!!!! Who's the dude with her though. And, Alan Q was hot back then!
