I don't see a big difference between McBain and Taggert, other than that Taggert not being white meant the show refused to put him in a larger role. Otherwise it seems the same to me, complete with the vendetta against Sonny which has little to do with anything viewers ever saw oncamera.

As for chemistry with GH cast members, I don't see that either, but I'm in the minority there.

*clap clap clap*

Thanks for throwing Johnny under a bus for Starr's storyline RC.

Not for me. If GH can keep MB (Sonny) on for years and years after all the crap he's done. They can keep BB (Johnny) too.

Today's the first day I have actually sympathized with Sonny fans. EVER.

How cheap is the pregnancy pillow that Tea needs to constantly hold her stomach up? I feel as if its going to fall out if she lets it go. At this point, its time to say F Starr. She is ready to give birth any day now...WTF is she in another state working on an attempted murder case? All her prenatal care and doctor is over in Llanview. Thats where she needs to be

Good for Carly defending Michael to Todd. LOL at him finding her attitude hot

More Todd getting the facts wrong. Victor didnt steal your life. He was brainwashed and manipulated

I knew Johnny shot the tires. Connie doing it never made much sense

Jason is a piece of sh-t. Sam has been fighing to have a baby for YEARS. She finally gets a miracle pregnancy and she's supposed to just throw this child away bc he cant deal with it? WTF?!?

Oh I defiently think it is. Jason's a dumbass and ready to throw his own kid away. He's not even willing to try and accept the baby as Sam's and that should speak volumes for her

ETA: I was on Tumblr and someone says Murphy Pendelton looks like Todd Manning so I had to look it up and saw this...LOL

For someone who was 'brainwashed and manipulated', Frodd sure didn't have a problem gearing up to fight to live the life that wasn't his after the truth was revealed. All the more reason that I am glad that Todd isn't cutting his ass a break and has zero remorse for "killing" him.

Doesn't matter to me. As long as he isn't made to be incompetent like Larry was or twisted every which way as another reason to justify Sonny's continued existence, McBain is the perfect antidote to the two jackass characters who have stunk up this show for far too long.

Maybe thats why. The last 8 years of his life WAS his reality. The relationships, the connections, the memories that were created, the love, the hate, etc....that was all real to him. Thats not something thats easily thrown away. He didnt get much of a chance to deal with it anyway. He was most scared of losing his family. He was killed off by Todd a few days after Tea and his kids accepted him and told them they'd stand by him despite the revelation. He was just as much a victim of Irene and her manipulations as anyone despite what some people might want to claim. I think it would show true growth and character for Todd to finally admit that instead of the whining about how his brother stole his life for 8 years when it wasnt the case or that simple.

WTF is Tea wearing it looks like a sheet or table cloth

Michael can just die

KS has improved, but she's only really good IMO when she's playing Connie, she's so blah as Kate

My point was that this is nothing new or profound for GH. GH has always had characters who call Sonny out or see Jason as wrong. Sonny in particular has had this token opposition. It always ends the same way - Sonny may not be a saint, but he's a decent guy who is wrongly accused. Our saviors Cartini have taken the Guza playbook and made it proud.

I'd actually rather see her as Kate. Her grade school Grease routine as Connie is truly embarrassing, some of the most embarrassing acting I have ever seen on daytime.

    • Then 87 is the year you're looking for. Vanessa leaves town in Jan 88. When I saw Jenny counseling Dinah about George making the pass at her, all I could think was that Van would be pissed Ross' latest fling was advising her daughter. Cop or not.
    • As much as I hate Phyllis, seeing Billy Flynn in those boxers briefs in today's episode, has me almost tolerating her. BF looks

    • Dear sweet June, you'll get it right eventually.  In the meantime it's a good chuckle.

    • Damn, Leslie went in on Shanice... poor girl! Leslie really can't handle stress or certain emotions well, she lashes out. I also think it's weird she wants to know so many details about Eva's love/sex life. Vernon was sweet to June. It was nice (realistic) to see a customer complain to her though while she's still trying to establish herself. I'll be that guy, but for me personally, my enthusiam/excitement over the show has stalled yet again over the last couple weeks. For the majority, it seems like we're in a holding pattern until Winterfest. It's like they don't want to rock the boat or do much until then, which leaves us in a quiet period here. Are sweeps a thing still these days? Seems odd that we're having a slow November. That ending was good, but I saw that coming... in theory it should have a quick resolution, but I'm guessing Leslie will expose it at Winterfest and it'll get throw out of proportion haha.
    • Yes. Why? I don't really care. Vanessa is also acting dumb, trying to run between tables, on a date with Ross in one room and a business meeting with Alan in another.  One of the few times Van is written as less than the smart woman she was.
    • I've been specifically looking for the episodes for Ross and Van together, because they essentially both raise Dinah at that period and the recaps around her typically avoid the Dorie years, the carnies, or Alan-Michael and Cam. I'm really just trying to trace a throughline between Paige, Wendy, and Gina. The last two are "easy," but it just messes with my timeline when Dinah thinks Alan-Michael would kill Ross. Then again, that Alan-Michael slept with his own stepdaughter, so...
    • Anyway...they literally mentioned the secret room today on Days and yes, this show needs a Kristen lesbian story lol.
    • Yes, they did a 'premiere' of Maggie's death episodes at the ArcLight theatre in Los Angeles, arguably then the nicest movie theatre chain in the USA. Plus, Suzanne and Deidre were in a ton of scenes together during this time. Whatever happened between them happened after 2004.
    • There are episodes with Jenny (Mary Ellen Stuart) that she was in pre-writers strike.. and I know that she lasts until at least August 1988. It's a shame that the show didn't try pairing her with Rusty since the two had more chemistry than she had with Ross and that he had with Rose.
    • Was that when she put on the"Slut of Springfield" red dress and made a complete ass of herself at the CC, so of course Alan fell madly in love with her on the spot?
