WHat was Todd's quip to Carly about some witness Blair would believe? I was confused--not that I was really paying full attention, the show is such a disjointed mess already under RC.

A doctor declared him temporarily insane when he killed Victor due to post traumatic stress disorder. That was the expert witness which got him his not guilty verdict. He was telling Carly, that Blair didnt buy it kinda like how Tea doesnt. I wouldnt be surprised if he paid him off.

Can someone tell why Carly, the owner of Metro Court, supposedly a big grand city hotel, is working the front desk checking in guests? I used to work at one such hotel on the front desk...and let me assure you that we didn't even have our front desk MANAGER checking in guests, let alone anyone from upstairs! It's like the Metro Court is like the Strathford Inn on NEWHART.

I thought they killed her character when they recast her as Kristen Storms and completely retooled the character for the worse. Pairing her with Jar Jar Binks simply shat on her corpse - something that I fear will decimate whatever progress Jen Lilley made in being a better actress than her predecessor.

I agree 110%. I've said this before, but I've never understood the criticisms about every actress that played the Slagbeast. As far as I'm concerned, they all played her as she was meant to be -- GH's resident canker sore.

Lord, please don't remind me...

Not only would I had much rather watch that, but I'd have rather seen Brenda and Kate go toe to toe (over Jax and/or Sonny and/or Crimson business). At least I'd have seen two worthy women that I loved throwing down instead of the skank that they shoehorned into Brenda's hemisphere.

Given how much time has been devoted to McBain prop duty and making Sam his chattel, I'm surprised there isn't more chemistry.

This is one thing that has turned me off with many writers the need to leech characters together instead of taking it easy e.g. Michael & Starr, Luke & Anna....I loathe the acting in this Konnie storyline for the most part its extremely campy...& its gotten old for me it was ok at first but its been months of this...

I agree with both of you!

I think the Poo Poopie do Betty Boop persona that Maxie developed w/Spinelli is what did it for me (the ditzie blond)....although I can't recall much of the Maxie character from the first actress I remember enough to know I didn't like KS rendition of her esp once she was shackeled to Spinelli. I liked KS' chemistry Jason's Matt...The low for me came when she banged Franco for Crimson then acted rather immature afterwards (starstruck) ....in the limo ..her Oh golly gee attitude......was a bit much. I thought the drug storyline with Lucky was rather interesting

a lot of decent acting went down wtih GV & KS for me...I'll never forget when she shook the bag of pills at the door & led Lucky to da bed... I was like DayyUmm gone with yo bad self girl...that was a helluva scene.

Also agree re: Megan Ward I was a huge fan of her Kate Howard...I tried but can't get with this version of Konnie by this actress

I think she and Burton had decent chemistry early on, but now he just sort of is there. I don't see it with Easton. As happened for most of their PC run, they just look like two coma patients slowly trying to get back to reality.

Anna exists in large part to prop him, because Easton is too bored to make any effort himself.

The show does look great though!
    • Well, she just said "ladies" on the show but she didn't specify they were fellow actresses. It could have been some of the women behind the scenes of the show. There was a lot in the interview that wasn't clear to me.
    • Now would’ve been a great time to get the next A plot going, versus Bill and Katie and Steffy and Liam rehashing the same BS about Luna we have been hearing for weeks.
    • I feel it could benefit from a focus on one of their three A stories or a solid B plot. But right before the turnover from Guza to Thomson, outside of all things Dani...there's nothing too A story-ish going on. Still entertaining for me, but it's noticeable that there is not a main story with other B/C stories going on. It's just...a bunch of stories going on.    I do hope the build to Winterfest and us actually seeing it THIS month will get things moving again.    HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
    • GET THAT HEFFA, NOSY NURSE!!!   I'm sorry to see Smitty and June coming to a middle ground. It seem like that tension would be between them for at least one more story arc. A writing change?   I'm sorry but I love the teen unit of Ty, Samantha, and Jessica (and Rocco, Danny, Charlotte over on GH which is what today is reminding me of). I'm a sucker for soap teens. lol.
    • I really hope Laura doesn’t get reelected. She doesn’t deserve it. Imagine her campaign staff, freaking out at the Metro Court as election results come in while she’s hanging out with Sonny.
    • Thanks for that. It was great to see her in an interview. She's very likable. Although it was somewhat confusing. What new soap is she talking about going on audition for in 1973. Was it The Young and the Restless? Is it just me or did they never even say the name of this soap opera? Days wasn't new in 1973 and there was no "Jack" with three daughters on The Young and the Restless. What soap are they talking about? The editing around that part was weird and choppy. I felt like there was a chunk missing or something. And I'm not sure why she was saying she got colorectal cancer from HPV and said it's because she never got the HPV vaccine but then said she's never had anal sex. I'm not a doctor but that didn't seem to make any medical sense. I don't know. Maybe I'm tired. It just seemed like some of this interview didn't make sense.
    • If it helps any, the last script cover from the Elman papers that I have is from episode #3,736 airdate November 15, 1977. Writers are the Hollands with Frank Salisbury.
    • B&B really does look incredible. The lighting and the polished sets have made a significant difference how visually appealing the show is now.
    • I found the problem with the Labine era was that the show lost some humour when the Labines came on and it could be dull. They also didn't seem to understand some of the characters. As others have said, it looks fantastic in comparison to the next regime but I just remember boredom being the primary response.
