It is exactly this story why soaps are deservedly mocked. Good grief.

If Franco is Jasons identical twin brother, I dont know how the hell Sam's ever going to know who her baby's father is. Jason is just going to have to learn to deal with and accept it as his regardless.

My first thought was who cares?

I guess it will be better for the baby to be Franco since Jason only raised or cared about children that aren't his. I doubt anyone will ever replace Michael in his heart

I figured they would go that twisted route. They might find a way to get a hold of some of Franco's dna, but to dig it back up after that issue had already been settled makes it seem like they are making it Franco's baby instead of Jason's. Hopefully not though, I already hate that she'll have to relive that nightmare all over again. I am glad that John will there for her though.

I knew this would happen as soon as they confirmed that Franco would be Jason's twin brother. I myself thought about it. What better way to torture Sam then to have her not know who her child's father was. Moreover it lends well to Franco's final words, "you will never know what really happened." Or some varation to that. Calvarti thought of it too apparently.

This is just as stupid and pointless as Claudia being Johnny's mom. Even if this is a misdirect, it's a stupid misdirect. What purpose does it serve? None. Franco isn't even on the canvas and with Jill Farren Phelps gone, he probably wouldn't return anyway. The focus should be on taking Jason and Sam in an entirely new direction that has nothing to do with the hugely UNPOPULAR storyline that caused the ratings to drop whenever it was featured.

Oh boy, that "yank into a hug" is textbook John McBain. *flips through The Illustrated Guide to John McBain* Yup it's right here on page 35. It's the equivalent of the Erica Kane combination hair toss/eyelash flutter.

It's a way to tell a sick, boring story while hiding beyond some type of history. That's what RC does best.
