AMC: Leven Rambin in Hunger Games

Maybe I had too much to drink after sneaking in me J.Crew flask into the movie theatre tonight, but seriously? Rambin re-negged on on her AMC committments for an under 5 role in Hunger Games?

The producers even denied ex-Lily Michelle Trachetenberg a cameo. I cannot believe at Leven gave a USD 5 about AMC if she was willing to give her her AMC finale week cameos for 5 minutes of screentime.

I love Leven; but frankly today, I have to say shame on you Ms. Rambin. Shame on you.

That 5 minutes in a major movie is much better for her career than a AMC return because of the connections she probably made with people on set and it looks good on her resume.

Does it really matter? AMC is done and over with and while it might have been nice to see Lily, she wasnt needed.

Really? You're faulting her for not turning down a role in THE biggest film of the year? The Hunger Games is HUGE, and that looks so much better on her resume than a cameo in the final weeks of a dying soap opera to play an autistic character she'd already previously played.

I was thrilled for her that she got the part in THG! I hope it leads to more film work for her.

Exactly, Hunger Games will be doing a ton for her career even if it was a short role.

Her role was memorable. I'd say it was well worth it and could lead to her one day being the lead in one of these films.

Everyone thought that she was so good on AMC as Lily, but she was awful as Ava. I never cared much for her.

Neither did I, really I never cared for her much as Lily either and I always thought she looked years older than she is in real life. But yeah a part in a major motion picture is much better than a quick comeback appearence on a dying soap.

I don't know about that. It took several close ups of her before I even recognized her,

and the only thing memorable about her was that she got stung by a bunch of bee's.

LOL

I don't know why, but that really made me laugh.

(I haven't seen the movie, btw.)

There were a few closeups of her before the games. I'm surprised she wasn't given a higher cast billing (like Cato, Clove and Rue were), she wasn't in the primary list, only in the mass cast scroll.

She looks like an overgrown child. I don't know what it is, but she has not grown into a beautiful woman yet. Hopefully it's just an awkward phase.

I think she looks gorgeous. And she got months on set with an acclaimed director and those THG kids, even the ones who died and won't be in the sequels, got a ton of photoshoots and were sent around the world for the various premieres and promotions. She made the right decision.

Cato and Rue were much bigger characters than Levin's "Glimmer", and Isabelle Fuhrman, the actress who played Clove also played the title role in the film "Orphan" so I'm not surprised that she had higher billing.

Also an FYI: another tribute, Marvel, who had a smaller role than Levin did, was played by Jack Quaid, son of Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid.
