Weren't Laura Wright and Ted King paired on both Loving and GH?

No. Ted King was with Tamara Braun and Jennifer Bransford's Carly. LW didnt take over until after the two had split up. They shared scenes but not as a paired couple

GH/AW AW brought on Chris Robinson to play opposite Denise Alexander but I don't think it really worked. Fault of the writers not the actors.

SB/Y&R Eileen Davidson and Stephen Nichols.

SB/GH Didn't Robin Mattson have a fling with Edward or something when Jed Allan was playing the part?

If you are doing parent/child then Linda Dano/Robin Christopher AW/OL/GH

Laura Wright and Paul Casey Anthony on LOV/GL

Elizabeth Hendrickson and Jeff Branson on AMC and Y&R.

Laura and Paul Anthony Stewart were a pair on Loving and briefly paired on GL.

I thought of them but didnt think it technicaly counted as Debbie was playing the same role and the fact that he looked like Jesse played heavily into why their connection was still there. It should be interesting to see if Y&R goes there with their new characters and if they work or not

Oh yes, I meant to mention the whole Y&R thing... I would actually like to see that because this go round Debbi would be playing the rough, "wrong side of the tracks" character. I could see Sarge being kind of mean and condescending to Harmony. I'm interested in seeing where they go with that, but they are right not to rush it... not that waiting is any guarantee that they'll eventually do it "right". ph34r.png

I'm not sure if Y&R will even pair up Debbi and Darnell. They mostly just pair the black actresses with Neil, for backburner appearances.

It doesn't necessarily have to be romantic couples. That's what the majority of these will probably be, but it can also be just people who worked heavily together.

AMC/Loving&TC: Debbi Morgan/Darnell Williams-Angie remained, but Darnell was now lookalike cousin Jacob who really was different than Jesse. Loving was the show that nobody watched, but they did well on there. In a perfect world, Jacob would be in Europe with Lorraine.

That sounds nasty to me. Especially in light of the fact that Jesse was alive the whole time now....

You know, it still baffles me to this day that ABC had Debbie and Darnell back playing (almost in Darnell's case) the same characters but NEVER brought them home to AMC. I was shocked that they didn't move them there after CITY got cancelled.

It could be that she didnt want to play Angie anymore. They did give her another role immediately in the form of Ellen on PC. I rememebr reading Debbi wanted the character to be a bitch and take no nonsense. She was different from Angie and I think Debbi welcomed the change

I think Debbi welcomed the change

She definitely did.

Especially since Ellen was closer to Debbi than Angie.
