Love the conspiracy theories, but Geary was in Amsterdam when NP was hired and didn't meet him until TG returned to GH and met his "new son". It wasn't until they started working together that TG pushed for Ethan to be Luke's son. Both have spoken to the issue.

As for the rest, Geary is a company man, no doubt about that. And he's not shy about having his desires known. But that's a long cry from strong arming the writers to do things his way, or being personally involved with the hiring of "young males". (which would be quite the feat considering he's overseas 5 months of the year)

Not that I care either way, but I'm not sure why it's so far fetched to believe that someone like TG (whose ass has been kissed by TPTB for as long as I can remember) would use his behind-the-scenes clout to get what he wants. It's not as if the backstage GH is a democracy.

I didn't think of Robert/Anna (mainly because I like to think that she wasn't sullied by that fuckery), but now that you put it that way - I sadly have to agree with your inclusion of that supercouple as another that was affected by the existence of that bootleg Jack Sparrow.

Delores' husband has been cast. He doesn't look too bad.Plus he's tall! But I'm nervous as RC doesn't have a good track record with actual minorities.
