Schuyler Yancey has been cast as Cameron Davis a new Doctor who also happens to be Celeste's son & Lexi's brother

Cameron was raised away from Celeste by his dad. No first airdate known yet

Yancey played Brian on Days in 2011 and Craig On AMC in 2010

Why is every black person either related to the Carvers or someone Lexie screws? I kinda wish they developed african americans outside of Abe and Lexie. I dont think Lexie needed yet another brother, especially when she has an interesting dynamic with EJ. Oh well....

I actually like this. I do wish there more black characters, but they've long needed to beef up the Carver family. And this will give him ties to the canvas rather than being a disposable extra.

Ties or no ties, he'll most likely be gone by the end of the year anyway. I wonder who they are going to try and stick him with before that happens

Bring back Nurse Lynn!

who is that?

Speaking of nurses, I kinda wish he were Maxine's son, and expand upon her so that there was a second black family in town

She spent 1996 and 1997 drugging people for Sami and the DiMeras.

There's also some random L&O "chung chung" music in her conversation with Marlena.

Here's the press release I just did with a little info about Schuyler:

Schuyler Yancey has been cast as Celeste's son, Dr. Cameron Davis. Look for Cameron to be paired with Abigail and make his debut in April, 2012. Yancey previously appeared on "Days" as Bryan, the Brady Pub waiter, from 2010-2011. Yancey's other acting credits include "CSI: NY", "NCIS", "My Boys", "CSI: Miami", "Hannah Montana", "Greek", "Melrose Place" and "All My Children." Schuyler Steele Yancey, 32, was born April 5, 1979 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Well hello there!

He reminds me of a mulatto version of Sam Page (ex-Trey, AMC).
