When Wendy Williams asked Whitney about Robyn in that infamous interview, she didn't say much. I wonder if they'd been long estranged.

The ex-limo driver has written some rather damning stuff.

And allegedly, Whitney met with Dr. Marc Mani about having a facelift but her heart, lungs, and liver failed his pre-op exam.

That's interesting, as I thought she still looked attractive all the way up to the end. Obviously there was wear and age but not anywhere near the Lindsay Lohan scale.

I can't blame the family for doing whatever they can to get money together, but it sounds like Bobbi Kristina needs a lot of long term mental health care, and I don't know where those funds will come from.

When Diane asked her which was worse..and she said her...that she was her worst enemy....not that it wasnt true..but the facial expression she made during her answer was frightening to me..it just wasnt Whitney.

Yes, she still was beautiful, nothing losing a few pounds wouldn't fix. Susan Lucci had her first plastic surgery at around that age and just genetically, Whitney wasn't experiencing the same facial sagging despite her bad habits. I wonder if Dionne ever had her face done. She's got those crazy cheekbones that they say can carry the weight of the world on most aging faces.

I don't want to feed into speculation, but it seemed like the bond she had with Robyn was unlike any other bond she had in her life.

I seriously wonder how much truth there is to her wanting to be with Robyn, but Cissy, Clive, the church, and the industry making her go in another direction to keep up appearances.

As for prophetic last words, Vh1 had a great one in their special about her. I can't remember Whitney's exact quote, but it was about how she wanted to be remembered and the how she doesn't plan her life.

    • Also, can't we assume Jagger's sister is still alive? @carolineg
    • Yes, I said some stupid things but I did not act on them. Yes.
    • I believe Jagger said Stone was in an assisted living community and thriving.  So Jagger wasn't exactly a part of his day-to-day life.  We know absolutely nothing about Stone's mother besides that it's not Karen, so it's possible she's more involved.  On Nightshift it did seem like he was the main caregiver though.
    • And, in fact, that is exactly what I did do, offered a sincere apology, and a year went by without it happening again & during that time I paid an unbelievably high price. And, during that time I did not speak of it. I did not offer a defense. I just took my lumps. I had been too upset to discuss it. I believed that I would not be believed. And, now I have finally made one statement & your interpretation of my actions is that I come back with excuses, defenses & distortions - whatever the heck that means - and, yes, some people choose not to believe me when I have been nothing but truthful ... forever.  So, your statement that all I needed to do was apologize, sorry, not what happened.
    • I wonder what happened to Jagger's son?  BTW, did Jagger ever go back to the Bay Area to see his son the entire time he lived in Port Charles? And all I want for Lois is to modernize her look a bit.  It's cool that she is graying, but now they need to remember she was a rock executive, and have her look a little more contemporary.  More Jenna Lyons, less Six from Blossom.
    • Just because Taggert is so anti Sonny I don't see that working for Lois. I agree with all this.   I still thought Harrington was decent.  He was just completely wrong for the role.  Weirdly being hung up on Karen and Stone was a strange choice too.  They've been dead for years and years and he wasn't married to Karen when she died in a car accident and didn't even show up to Stone's funeral.   Correct and Donna is acting like she didn't PM people like me this info about Drake months before he passed away.
    • Wagger was so bizarre. I still don't care about that dude and I knew what would happen to him from the beginning. But it is crazy they pretend like it didn't matter Sonny stone cold killed a fed. I'm sure they will pick it up in a year or two to try to save face and make it important for some other plot point, like how they forgot all about Austin, Nikolas shooting Hayden and letting Shawn take the fall, etc. He was mediocre and folks acted like he was Douglass Watson because of that one Mulcahey speech! The answer here is the same one to anyone who is familiar with Donna from BITD: She implicitly believes she unofficially works here and has a position of authority in fandom. She does not.
    • I would much rather see Lois with someone young and exciting over being with Taggert.  Rick Webber Jr or have a scandalous affair with Dillon Quartermaine.  Tracy would lose her mind.
    • Well, of course, it's unlikely. But in the what-if fantasy world, I wonder if the actors/characters would work well together.
