Yeah even the Will stuff was boring today. There was no drama in those scenes. It was like oh you work for EJ....will let me tell you what...blah..blah..blah...so boring.

Yep, hideously boring. Hope and John tinkering with a file cabinet...just shoot out the lock. So dumb.

Kate Mansi is a one-note actress. Molly Burnett and the actress who plays Carrie really showed her up in yesterday's scenes. I'm not going to talk about Patrick Muldoon, lol.

I'm not feeling the heat at all, I agree with Cheap! The show is absolutely boring for me right now, minus a few things. I liked the Lucas/Will scenes a lot. Oh and I loved Kate's outfit today w/the electric blue accent. Killing it as always!

Very interesting...what could the reason be? Eric Winter can't have control of mentions of a character's name?

Possibly something similar as to why we've been made to forget there was ever a Peter Blake in Salem? Just my guess.

Holy bad acting Lisa Rinna. In fact, the acting as of late has been really phoned in lately by many of the key players (Rinna, Alfonso, Hogestyn).

One of the worst decisions ever still was to bring back John Black. Marlena is a much more viable character when he is in absentia.

There was a time that I loved John & Marlena. The affair was wonderfully acted by Drake, Deidre & Wayne Northrop. I also enjoyed John & Marlena during the Kristian fiasco as well. Although, that was probably due to Eileen Davidson rocking the storyline. I haven't really enjoyed John or Marlena after that. Deidre is showing promise now that she's not chained to John in a storyline. I still think they should have kept John dead after he was killed from the car accident.

I just hope the writers continue to have Marlena be a part of Sami and Will's storylines. She's been wonderful in a supporting capacity. I'm hoping with Stefano's emergence in Bope & Jarlena's storyline we see Kate & Marlena reignite their rivalry. Lauren & Deidre are great when they're catty to each other.

In that scene in the DiMansion a few weeks ago, Marlena threw out a "Katie" that was delicious.

TOTALLY forgot Lucas was working for Tony when I started watching regularly.

Haven't watched todays show yet but did they mention Lucas working for Tony? If they did, that's wrong since Lucas was working for Andre.

You're right, Andre has not been mentioned at all since his death in 2007. I didn't like the 2007 rewrite and looking back now it seems even more of a mistake. Andre was killed three months after the reveal, Tony became a new character to anyone who started watching after 1985, and he spent a year and a half on the backburner before being killed off. And of course when rewatching storylines in 1993-1995 and 2002-2003 there are so many plot holes knowing it was Andre. Making the psycho in 2004-2005 Andre would have been fine, but not the other years.

Anyway, my point is that if the writers aren't planning to redo it again (which I doubt since Thaao isn't on the show) they should stick with the last rewrite, so Lucas worked for Andre, not Tony.

I just loved those Bo convulsion scenes. It was so rushed, Hope called, made a bitchface, Billie tried to talk, and then all the sudden OH MY GOD HE'S DYING!! And then most of this seemed to take place offcamera, with Hope looking confused. Lisa Rinna can't act that well but I don't think you can do anything with that type of scene. I was howling. I hate the idea of laughing at a soap but I'd rather laugh than be offended.

Yes, there aren't many actresses that could sell "Oh my god, he's dying!" that well. I don't really mind Lisa Rinna, in fact I kind of like her in the role, even if she isn't the strongest actress.

Sindacco, you do realize this is the same show that spent months upon months telling a story that ended in us finding out John/Stefano are brothers and it is NEVER mentioned. Brady is a DiMera/Kiriakis...there's so much you could do with that...but yeah if they won't acknowledge that, I doubt anyone's gonna waste time talking about Andre being Tony.
